Maybe an Ersan Ilyasova with better handles? I guess DaSilva is the senior version of Johnny Furphy if he reached his full potential in college, 3 years later.

What if Cody Williams, Tristan DaSilva and KJ Simpson were drafted? :o

Really though, he looks like Pascal that can shoot 40% 3-pointers. He looks more advanced than Pascal coming into the league I would be fine taking him with the Pacers pick. It would be like how Utah replaced Gobert with Walker Kessler plus 1st picks.

He'd be a great pick at 31 if he makes it. A very Darko type player. Great shooter, smart cutter, connective passer, high bball IQ. He checks a lot of boxes even of he's not a star.

I think he'd be taken in the early 20's. Knicks at #21 and #22 shouldn't let him past them. He would be much needed depth behind OG and Randle.

I would draft him like Jaquez and Podz being drafted around #18,19 in a decent draft.

Reed, DaSilva and Chomche would add potential shooting to all positions.

Edey/Boilermakers playing in Detroit and it is like a home game. No doubt Canadians love him. He would be larger than life in Toronto.

I think his form is pretty good but dude shot 46/28/75% from the line in his last 11 with his 3PT% heavily bringing down his FG%

Interesting that he had a 58TS% on the year regardless

Still think he'd be the primary target if we stay at 6 and its between him Cody, and Matas

I think some posters are setting themselves up for disappointment with Edey. He doesn’t at all seem like a Darko kind of guy. If we’re committed to Darko’s vision than I can’t see the fit. I wouldn’t be shocked to see the raps pick dalton knecht as high as 6 though. Movement shooter to spread the floor around Scottie. Seems like a Darko guy. He’s older and doesn’t play defence but him and Gradey spreading the floor would be insane.

Knecht is just a great three point shooter. So many exist in the NBA and this Knecht guy can't even score from other spots.

I think what Edey does is give this team a halfcourt offense and creates gravity we don't have. Purdue shoots 40% from three. Who stops a Scottie - Edey pick and roll?

^^Knecht looked pretty good today. He doesn't have mid range? He showed the ability to take it to the hoop tonight. 6th seems high but I doubt he's there at the Pacers pick.

6 is way too high but he won’t be there at 17. He wouldn’t be my choice at 6, I just mean it wouldn’t surprise me.

Edey missed like 30 seconds of the game. The guy is a warrior. He looked gassed on his freethrows. If he wins a title what does it do to his draft stock? Lotto?

I'm guessing Duke wins then we get to see Edey vs Filipowski. :o

I think the highest Edey would go is Atlanta at #18. Would New Orleans take him at #14 with the Laker pick? OKC takes one of Clingan, Filipowski and Edey?

I would love to see DJ Burns and Edey. Return of the big man. The ultimate will be Kling Kong and Edey in the finals.
