Based on the range of players around our pick, I hope we draft CMB. I'm comfortable with our staff working towards improving his jumper. The dude can ball, and I don't foresee him being an out-of-position tweener.

So what happens if Barnes & BI looks like a dynamic duo to build with. Where does CMB slot in? We move BI to the 2?

I know we discussed that rumor a couple of weeks ago, but I’m wondering if this could point to something like an RJ + #9 for Cam Johnson + #19 framework.

Johnson is slightly cheaper than RJ, provides more spacing, and maybe the organization is targeting a big man in the mid-to-late teens.

I’m not saying I would make that trade—I know it was an unpopular idea when it came up last time.

But I do wonder if there’s something to the rumor.

I don't see how that matters. I don't foresee CMB or any player drafted this year being an option for the starting line-up.

We need frontcourt depth, so if CMB can put up solid minutes playing between the 4/5 position behind SB and JP, we'll be a better team.

That would be incredible. But I am not sure it’s that realistic.

RJ + 9 for Cam, 12 and 19 would be real bargain.

I think in this trade both Brooklyn and Chicago are a bit losing IMO.

idk man, he simply pops on tape just like mobley did. can't teach that sort of fluidity at his size. his measureables only enhance his case.

might not be ready for a while but you take the potential and let the developmental staff do its thing. adding a later pick would ease things too. this seems like the smartest thing to do instead of sticking at 9.
