Just curious but....how exactly did you get to see this?

And, more specifically, how did you get to see it without having to sign a non-disclosure agreement?

Just sayin....seems odd that anyone would be in a position to talk about this at this time.

It will leak when MLSE has to send this logo to other companies for merchandise, branding, etc...

They generally have to do this months in advance to create banners, etc....so we'll see it early in the new year is my guess.

If you go back and look at when new uniforms are announced, that is generally not the case.

Rarely, if ever, are new designs leaked ahead of the official announcement.

That should not be a surprise since vendors have a lot to lose if they do not protect the secrecy of the designs.

I will say this though. In previous years nobody gave a crap about this Raptors team....they could change the logo or uniform and it would be ho-hum because really, it's the worthless Raptors team....now.....the team is popular again....I totally expect this to leak.

Hell, bigger teams than ours have had logos leak early....Detroit Lions, Miami Marlins, etc...

Change 'em to Huskies Blue and White. Rebrand all Toronto teams in Blue and White. Change our flag to Blue and White.

Got to see the actual proposed uniform design a while ago. Simple, clean, not bad. The new logo is a ball with a claw mark ripping it on the side at about a 45 degree angle. Concept is good but I suspect most people won't like it if compared to our current claw.

Why the hell are they rebranding if they're just going to be lazy and change the colour and size of the font. Our jerseys and colour scheme are in no way unique to other teams in the league. That logo too, wtf a ball with a claw print on it? That's the best they can come up with?

Red and Black are my favorites colors, so I really have no problem with current color scheme.

Purple is just terrible for me. Watching Raps in those purple, nostalgia wore off pretty quick, just remembered how bad purple is.

-For those that like the Dino throwback... We're you alive or we're you a fan of the Raps when we first worn them? That would help explain it... They are horribly ugly... Great if you are trying to market to a 10 year old but c'mon how anybody can like Barney is beyond me.

Yes thank you. No one liked those dino throwbacks in the first few years of their existence. They were called hideous amongst other names and Ive also seen it on various top 10 lists for the ugliest uniforms of all time.. Now all of a sudden they are good? I was even surprised to see Amir post on instagram that they are the best jersey in the league. If any purple jersey should be brought back its the one VC wore in the dunk contest. All the people liking those dino jerseys were probably not even old enough to remember them. Fashion changes but they still look kind of brutal.

How old are you guys? Young people and old people have a different sense of style. I think i've seen every player on our team confess their love for our purple dinos and just read the feedback for them on twitter, ALOT of people want them back.
