PG Fredette
SG Stauskas / Kapono
SF McDermott / Morrison
PF Novak / Babbitt
C Bargnani / Jason Smith

Championship? Just imagine the spacing on that team.

Yeah and they would be a big hit with the old racist puck heads at the pub on my street.

Stauskas could end up as another example of a premium college player who doesn't flourish in the League (e.g. UNC: JR Reid); there's been a long history of that and while it doesn't taint his Wolverine legacy, success at the college level doesn't necessarily equate to a similar NBA arc.

Stauskas should turn into a decent rotation player, but his potential was never high enough to justify making him a top 8 pick.

First they traded for a 20 million per year, underachieving player then they wanted to trade for more overpaid underachieving players in D-Will, Josh Smith and Rondo. They then traded for another overpaid and underachieving player in Derrick Williams which didn't make any sense considering they already had Rudy and a bunch of undersized bigs. After that, they spent their 8th pick on a shooting guard when they just drafted one the year before instead of drafting a PG or a traditional PF. Despite all that, they start the season with 9-5 record in a tough western conference and they fired their coach after Boogie goes down with an injury. What a joke. I hope Boogie demands a trade and get out of there ASAP.

The New Yorker profile on Ranadive ought to be sufficient fodder to confirm the depths of his megalomania - he employed a legit full court press for his 12 (?) year old daughter's team. Voulgaris thinks he's a straight out clown and derides him at every given opportunity.

Sacramento FO is deluded enough to project Stauskas as Kyle Korver Version 2.0 given what their decision-making history is thus far.

Illuminati is definitely a fitting screen name. Ridiculous because they reached for Stauskas in the first place after drafting a SG the year before. No body has Nik going that early. His value already plummeted because nobody saw him as a lottery pick. They are never going to get value for him. The owner over ruled the GM and made the selection. The same owner that went on to fire a coach that had the franchise off to their best record in 10 years. Only to fire his replacement 3 weeks later. Their 3rd coach in 1 season. Oh and that first coach was very close with their star player. All things considered the Kings are a joke right now and everyone knows it.

The timing is good to trade your first round pick within months of drafting him? Why draft him in the first place? This screams "we made a mistake" and you don't think other teams are going to look at it that way?

Always wanted the Kings to do well because of their fan base but I can't stand the moves they've made recently.

The first good move the Queens made in a while was hire George Karl. Why not let him evaluate who is useful on the team and then figure it out.

I get the sense that this Vivek guy is a full blown control freak sociopathic ****, Why in the blue hell did Silver and Stern gave this guy the keys to Sacramento? Why to get the South Asian support, to grow the Game in India? They could've picked a better more balanced Indian business magnate, this guy is insane crazy jackass, I get the vibe that this guy will sell his own mother to prostitution if the price is right.

Stauskus would fit well here. He put the ball on the floor, shoot, pass, and he isn't a worse defender than Vasquez really

The way this would work for us is a 1st or Ross going to team X, who send stuff to the Kings, who sends Stauskas to us.

Example:
Faried to Kings
Stauskas to Raptors
Ross, Thompson, Landry to Nuggets
Where's the D?

There has to be more to this than meets the eye. Maybe Cousins has told them that they need to compete if they want him to resign. We all know this team is not a few players away from competing. I can't imagine them getting much for Stauskas.
Spurs
Knicks
Nets

all are good trade partners with the kings, but I don't value Stauskas that high. Only thing you can get back is a bloated salary and maybe a second rounder.
