Lol idk why everyone wants norm to lose the spot so bad. He has the most experience, is the most proven and quite frankly is the most talented out of all of RHJ, stanley, OG, and all the new young guys we've signed. It's crazy how everyone treats him like he's some scrub that needs to be replaced by any new guy that we sign.

Damn, my boy is working on everything. Pull-up 3s, jumpers off-the-dribble, fade-away jumpers, etc. Looks better than a prime KD-MJ-Lebron-Curry-Giannis clone.

Corrected.

I didn’t say I want norm to lose the spot. But if Stanley proves to be a better option then I’d start him regardless of experience.

Norms 26 and Stanley is 23. Would be nice to have a young prospect show signs of life and potential to steal a starting position

I don’t care for the offseason runs much, but I look for cues and contrasts. I see Trae effortlessly dominate, I see SJ not showing anything new. Pascal in his Rico runs showed a much improved handle and confidence in his jumpshot, he was taking guys in the post and off the dribble, SJ in two runs now has shown nothing, I don’t care because it’s not the regular season, but he should have a chip on his shoulder - it doesn’t look promising.

That's your own projection. Two runs! That's exactly the point. He's out there working, his chip is there for you to see.

DeMar in every offseason run showed more and more dominance in every game. This is a lax pickup and he has brain farts. This isn’t even summer league level competition, you have Aaron afflalo and bobby brown doing whatever they want, Jordan Crawford, guys who are not even in the league. Show me a new and improved handle, show you want to attack as soon as you get the ball. Show signs of life. Nurse has a lot of work to do to get him turned around, he’s had a horrible
NBA career on the offensive end. I’m one of his biggest proponents, check the Stanley signed thread.

You don't care for offseason runs yet tout the importance of DeMar killing the Drew League and Siakam posting up some scrubs in last year's Rico Hines workouts. Signs of life are that he's actually working very hard to get better and you can see that because he's in publicly available footage. Whether he gets better or not isn't going to be evident by scouring clips of summer workouts.

I can't see a guy who shot 29% from 3 beating out Norm, who shot 40% from 3 when hitting shots is going to come at a premium for this team.

I do hope we find some sort of diamond with Stanley, but I think the more likely event is him challenging OG, not Norm.

Though every time we give Norm more responsibility, he tends to freak out.

Ya'll sleepin on Norm man.

I actually have higher hopes for him than I do OG. I thought last year was a massive year for Norm to prove that he wasnt a bust

Norm quietly had a great season in his role. Highly efficient with solid defense. He shot 40% from 3 last season. If he can maintain his efficiency while increasing his volume (difficult task), he'll be a great starter. He has the ability to create his own shot, something the team will need more of with Kawhi gone.

Norm tends to be great against opposing bench units. He's probably our weakest perimeter defender out of our PG's and SF's. He's still beat off the dribble often and fouls very easily. I feel like SG is going to fluid. I like the idea of OG being an oversized 2 and Stan playing the 3. Norm is an energy spark off the bench when he's at his best. We even got a lot of double point guard lineups, when Kawhi would sit. OG would start at SF and Fred would play the 2. Norm has a tendency to disappear for stretches of the season.

No clue. Last year he was working with Micah Lancaster but I can't seem to find anything on him. Wonder if the team doctor's told him to start training late because of his appendicitis

I just seen footage of Jordan Crawford, he’s no longer in the league, anyone know what happened to him? He’s good at scoring the ball and play making. He would be a nice backup to Norm. He reminds me of Lou Will light.

Siakam working on his pull up 3's.
Ho man, KD-esque.
Quick snipe-like release. His shooting form already looks better than last year.

All NBA 2nd team means top4 SF/PF in the NBA which should be reserved for Lebron, Kawhi, PG, and Giannis. AD might be considered a forward too for this purpose. Though that leaves one more spot for 3rd team NBA :D (Can Pascal be better than Blake, Ben simmons, Butler, Horford, Tatum, Love, Milsap, Aldridge, Kristaps? I don't think its far fetched)

I can see one of the 4 getting injured. (Specifically PG) Double shoulder surgery? If not, I see him battling Butler and Blake for the 3rd team.
