You can pick whatever narrative you want for this game: Raptors were missing two good players, didn't play well, and kept it close. Giannis didnt play well and Bucks still won by 11 on the road on the second night of a back to back. End of the day I think Toronto can beat anyone in the East in the playoffs but i think those chances are significantly lower against Milwaukee with the Bucks having a decisive edge due to Giannis.

The Bucks are a tier higher than anyone in the East, anyone that says otherwise is lying or doesn't pay attention to the game.

This hot take has no basis.

19 PF on the Bucks
26 PF on the Raptors

The 50:50 calls mostly went to the Bucks.
Bucks kept the Raptors in the game with unforced turnovers.

Raptors got Bucks in the bonus with 6 minutes left in the 4th and then could not buy a call.

Logic says the Bucks had the refs so literally ... what exactly are you talking about?

The issue tho is the difference in **** attempts.

Raptors had 10 more 3pa than bucks but also had 10 more shots overall

So that means either bucks attempted slightly more shots in the paint or

Stats are skewed to not show FGA for bucks for any shots they earned fts on

Either way, I saw us settling for bad possession 3pta late in the shot clock

And saw Lowry completely turn down open long 2s to either force junk layups or force 3pt attempts

We had 6 more shots in the paint.

We weren't beat, we beat ourselves. Marc's influence was missed.

The best part about playing the Bucks is how incredibly mad NBA Champion Kyle Lowry and NBA Championship ring wearer Drake make their fans. They really, really can’t get over not winning the title last year.

All these Bucks fans posting in our PG thread suggests that Bucks fans are actually a little worried about the Raptors. As they should be.
It should be a fun ECF matchup if we get to that point.
It's still 2-0 Raptors, so for now, I'll take the chance to gloat.

Lot of takeaways from this game...

- Tall order to beat Milwaukee without Gasol and Powell
- Raptors defense can still shutdown Giannis even without Kawhi and Gasol
- Game was eerily similar to Game 1 in the ECF when we couldn't hit open shots and Game 2 against GSW and had a bad quarter
- Lowry and Ibaka combined 4-27 lol
- Siakam needs to be better
- The Lopez brothers are always problematic teams shying away from centers should look how valuable they are
- Boucher and Thomas could actually be in the rotation in the playoffs
- Middleton is shooting the lights out this year and seems more crafty
- FVV has got to be smarter and made some uncharacteristically bad decisions in crunch time
- Siakam needs to be better defensively
- Bucks only won 1 quarter need to be more proactive during big runs and not dig holes
- Nurse and Lowry need to chill and not take unnecessary T's against this team
- The Champs shouldn't be the rattled team and they shouldn't be jittery they can hang with this team need to remain poised

I'm embarrassed that some of us were trying to blame the refs for making the call there.

Serge and Lowry were not sharp today at all. Essentially what costs us the game. The bench though played really well versus the Bucks!

No, we traded assets for Kawhi, and then more assets for Gasol, and won the championship. There's nothing gifted about it.

My point was, wait until the Bucks actually do something before talking smack. It looks ridiculous and completely tone deaf that you guys are propping up regular season wins against a team that ran off 4 straight wins against you on route to winning a title about 8 months ago.
