Bosh couldn't get us out of the 1st round playoffs. He's not that good. Doesn't deserve our attention.

Seems from the thread most of the posters were probably kids when Bosh was here.
The guy played his heart out while he was in Toronto. The organization couldn't put together a decent team for him. I remember arguing with Blazers fans trying to defend Chuck's vote for Bargnani as ROY back in the day and trying to convince myself Colangelo was a genius for bringing in scrubs like Garbajosa and Parker over as starters.
I'll always cheer for Bosh and was happy when he won a chip in Miami. He gave it his all and was professional up until his contract was up.
Real Raptor fans won't **** on Bosh and then turnaround and suggest that we should forgive Vince which I see a lot of the posters have in other threads.

Nope, "Real Raptors fans" will **** on both of them. Most people would be cool with Bosh if he hadn't disrespected the city after he left. He'll never deserve having his number retired, nor will Vince. Some people are willing to look the other way with Vince because of the enormous impact he had on basketball in Canada, I am not one of those people but I can at least understand the sentiment.

Never said Bosh's number should be retired. I don't think either of them should have their number retired.
That said I am not aware of any statements that Bosh made that disrespected Toronto. Not saying that I followed Bosh's every move in recent years but I have a feeling the so called "Bashing" is nothing more than the result from the self-loathing attitude that a lot of Canadians tend to have (I am a Canadian also).
And honestly so what if he did say some negative things years after he left? When he was here he repped Toronto as much as than any other player we've had before him. That alone deserves appreciation from this fanbase.

No it doesn't. He represented himself first and foremost. If he bad mouthed the city after he left, it lets you know how much him "repping" the city was actually a facade. I don't know how you're unaware of the statements he's made, there are numerous threads where it's been brought up and discussed.
