Lowry just has this appearance that he's just a semi-star. He's actually so mature that he doesn't want all the spotlight on himself, **** when Demar was here in my eyes Lowry was wayyyy better from day one, but he let Demar feel like #1 because it helped the team. Lowry just brings a whole swagger in a variety of ways, not just defending your C's & stripping them, getting those charges, hitting big 3's, locker room leader, also those momentous plays that stop runs or keep our own going. Glad we didn't make moves out of desperation, don't matter if you're the Lakers lol you gotta pay up if you wanna win.

I can't see Lowry wanting to go to Sixers other than being his hometown. Embiid, Simmons, Harris, et al just doesn't have a winning make up. I see Lowry staying or going to miami

Plus they can't even afford him, all the can offer is the MLE.

They can S&T for him but shoot, if you’re Masai, you ask for multiple FRPs now to make that happen. Maybe Simmons too.

Truthfully, I think there's probably a reasonable package that Philly could offer in an S&T.

I don't think it would be a crazy package, but getting Curry and an asset could be really good. Even if Curry's not a fit here, he'd be an asset for sure, and could maybe be moved for an upgrade at the 5, or a future pick or something.

the Sixers are not trading one of the only positives in this playoff series for a 36y old Kyle Lowry. Curry's value shot up during this series (59.1 3P% - 21ppgs against the Hawks). Embiid needs that kind of 3pt shooter.

The funniest thing about all this is that Lowry would've been a perfect fit on the 76ers.

Can run the PnR
Can shoot 3s
Can defend and take charges
Leader on and off the court.

I don't think people properly appreciate Lowry until he's on your team. He does so many of the little things that help you win games. With him, the 76ers beat the Hawks in 5 or 6.

Phoenix / Chris Paul success has only helped Lowry's market value.

I still wrestle with whether this is a net good thing, or bad thing, for the Raps. It could mean that we can get something in a S&T scenario (good), or, maybe a team is more willing to move internal salaries to free up cap space and sign Lowry outright (bad).
