All that matters is he heals in the next couple months...

Unfortunate he loses some playoff experience but we were not likely winning the title this year to say the least....so barring any overly serious long term damage (which I doubt) this shouldn't be much of a concern long term at all.

The future is still very bright here

Pascal, Precious, and Boucher seem healthy. Anyone else?

Really praying he's got Giannis in him in terms of whatever healing power, super human body, etc. and it turns out to be something minor. And at worst, all he has to miss is the first round of playoffs.

Without Scottie no chance at the title but with him, there is a small chance. Scottie almost had a 20 point triple double after 3 quarters!!!

Keep dreaming

I mean Im a Raps fan to the core but im not delusional. We are a regular season squad with no 'it'. Scottie is a beauty but not close to ready to take us to the next level in the playoffs.

I really don't care about the series or this year's playoffs in the long scheme of things. I just want him healed for the offseason so he can further develop his game. Glad that the x-rays came back negative. It looked really bad.

Shut him down till game 3 or 4 and only let him play if he is at least 75% otherwise it’s not worth the long term risk

exactly. We are like the 12-13 Warriors or the 03-04 Heat. So we need growing up and maturing from our young star and also very likely at least 1 significant trade.

We are 2 years away.

He’s probably undergoing the MRI right now. Let’s pray and hope for the best.

Hate to be negative here but the way he was holding the bottom of his foot, I cant see Barnes being back for the series. It really sucks because he was on his way to a great game.

It will be determined if it's Grade 1, 2 or 3 or if there is bone chips that need to be extracted. Hoping for a Grade 1 or 2 sprain given his youth can heal within the next 2-3 weeks but in reality we'll probably be eliminated but for long term the severity will be crucial for his off-season development.

Depends on his pain tolerance or the shock of getting a sprained ankle for the first time. Some people get grade 3 sprain, continue to play through adrenaline and tape it, only to be on crutches the next day while others seems like someone shot their foot, leaving games, then only to be diagnosed with grade 1 mild sprain, walking and jogging gingerly the next day, depends on the individual, really hoping it's the latter for Scottie.

Didn’t he sprain his ankle with 10 minutes left in the 4th? And didn’t Embiid step on his foot? Why was he in the game?
