I can't imagine OG was being offered if they settled for Jrue and a pick. That's nuts.

Ayton is the get here, and the Suns were always meh on him after that playoffs.

It's really Jrue vs. OG which to me is a no brainer leading me to believe OG wasn't offered.

Because it's silly to just assume the Raps get what they want when Portland had all the say in the matter.

They wanted to do right by Dame but the Heat wouldn't budge. The Buvks stepped in and Dame was willing to go there, certainly over Toronto.

And with Jrue, they likely have already had discussions to know his trade value and it's more than an OG.

My guess is that the FO didn't think Lillard was good enough to vault them up enough to compete for a championship. I don't blame them. People were on the forum stating that this was just like the Kawhi trade, when it clearly wasn't. Kawhi was a FMVP, DPOY and top 3 in MVP for multiple years. He accomplished much more plus we got Danny Green.

The one thing that this trade did do is take Giannis off the market. As much as the FO doesn't want to play the lotto they might just end up going there anyways.

After calming down a bit and being rational. My guess is Dame said no to Toronto and wants to compete for a chip. He probably felt that his best chance of the offers available was with the Bucks. Portland, rewarding Dame for his loyalty over the years obliged.

I'm getting sick and tired of this. I'll see what they make of Siakam and OG but after that and things go similar to how it's gone the last year or so, I think it's time to part ways with management and start fresh.
