Didn't Rudy start the same day the trade got announced?
I remember that debut against the Clips like it was yesterday. Thought we had something special!

I would have been more surprised if he started Quickley and Barrett this game, but there is no way this guy said it's tough to make changes in season, right? As in even as the days go on? He meant first game, right? I expected this for one game and then those guys starting. Please tell me that was just him misspeaking lol

Darko would of started Kawhi off the bench too for a few games if he was the coach for 2018-2019. It's fine.

Look across to the other side of the trade and the +.500 Knicks had OG starting and on pace to play 40+ minutes in his first game had he not fouled out. There is absolutely no reason to not start Quickley in place of Schroder tonight as we've been bad this season anyway and now we finally have a young talented guard to pair with Scottie. Why delay the inevitable just to make Schroder feel better about himself for a few days? I sure hope this is Darko just being discreet with the media.

Any time you can split up Jak and IQ you just have to do it.

You guys are way over the top on this. As long as he’s starting within the week, I don’t think it is a big deal.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

You’re using logic. That’s not Darko’s game

They need to learn the sets and plays that the current players are executing so flawlessly.

Last straw for Darko was imo was not playing Gradey against the pistons. One of the worst teams in history and short handed when your bench is giving you nothing. Aren't you a development coach? Haven't seen much of anything else either.

No more reserved judgement from me, It's on Darko to prove he's not trash now.

Big difference between starting OG who fits like a glove on every team vs putting in Quickley in his first game when he's a guy who plays on ball. You start GTJ and Schroder and let Quickley and Barrett come in and play together off the bench, as they're familiar. But then as the game goes on, you get them in rhythm and have then ready to start in a game or two.

Darko would come off the bench as assistant coach.

I said this before but unless its something to do with confidence that we're not aware of, Gradey should be getting as much playing time as possible.

This is what I haven't liked about Darko so far. Why are we delaying our rookies development in actual NBA games? let them play thru mistakes and if they still suck for a couple of years or so then trade them. If they think him playing will actually make it worse for him because he isn't NBA ready then we might have more issues considering everyone thought he'd at least be a threat from the perimeter from day 1. Or is it that they don't want to be exposed they made the wrong pick?
