^They're right and our FO should enforce things to make sure we don't play with any fire ie/ injuries or any flukish situation where MIA even has any remote chance of catching us. Just play nothing but the young guys, only bring back some of whoever is whining from the starters once it's OFFICIAL that we can't lose 7th and let this season go already.

Miami would have to lose their remaining 10 games and Raptors would have to win at least 7 games (of their remaining 10) to pass Miami.

5 of those remaining 10 games for Miami are against the Pels, Wizards (twice), and 76ers (twice).

It's damn near impossible to pass Miami at this point.

I could actually see us win all of our remaining games, 7 of them isn’t a difficult ask lol, we play nothing but trash teams with the lone exception of the Pistons who I still think we could beat. MIA just showed they’re capable of allowing a large 10L losing streak. We had the same casual attitude about not falling out of 5th but here we are.

We’ve had misfortune before in the draft (Coin Toss Ross) so again until we’ve OFFICIALLY locked in the 7th spot I don’t take anything for granted. We need to stop playing any of the starters until it’s official, idc how supposedly low the odds are that they pass us. We shouldn’t count our eggs before they hatch, first make sure we get the desired result then do as we wish.

Even if you tank hard and finish last, you only have 14% chance at #1. It takes luck no matter what. The real objective should be is to get a top 5 pick. Finishing last guarantees it.
