Just play nothing but the young guys, only bring back some of whoever is whining from the starters once it's OFFICIAL that we can't lose 7th and let this season go already.
Miami would have to lose their remaining 10 games and Raptors would have to win at least 7 games (of their remaining 10) to pass Miami.
5 of those remaining 10 games for Miami are against the Pels, Wizards (twice), and 76ers (twice).
It's damn near impossible to pass Miami at this point.

Now this isn't to say we shouldn't try to get the best odds, but imagine being the Wizards and spending most of the season with the worst record, only to end up with the sixth pick, while the Blazers just swoop in to get the 1st pick. Miami, who was not even in the conversation for a top pick, gets third. Anything can happen, best laid plans, and all that...

I just ran it once and got probably the most upsetting result possible...
1. Nets
2. 76ers
3. Wiz
4. Jazz
5. Hornets
6. Pelicans
7. Raptors
Only positive is the Raps not dropping lower than 7th but if this happened, I would pretty much not visit here next season unless whoever we got somehow looked like the best player in the draft. This place would be unbearable.

Finishing 7th is not that bad given where we are. More likely to drop to 8 or 9 than pick 7th. (but hopefully top 4)

tWo would be furious with this result because it's rewarding a bad "process" and we shouldn't rely on luck in a lottery.
