Have to consider he's the 2nd youngest player in the draft and playing in a decent pro league, of course he's more likely to be a role player in this situation. If he were showing a ton of offensive skill instead of having it be more projection, he would be a top 3 pick in this draft.

FYI...he comes from the same team that gave us Killian Hayes.

Cooper Flagg comes from the same team that gave us Marvin Bagley, I don’t see how thats relevant

I hope Kon drops if Noa is taken before us. Nets could also just be doing it to get us to trade up.

Apparently Noa was asked a couple weeks ago who he models his game after and his response was "Paul George & Kawhi Leonard"

He now says he models his game after "Scottie Barnes, Pascal Siakam, and Kawhi Leonard"

Then you have all the reports how from the season how Masai has made multiple scouting stops in France this year. People where speculating Traore, but Essengue is a real possibilitym

Noa Essengue is their guy IMO.

DQ with Zion's influence...there are not enough beignets in New Orleans to satisfy those appetites.

**** its making me hungry thinking of the type of seasoned food they could be eating rn. Image

The Essengue smoke is looking too obvious to me. First the Scottie/Pascal/Kawhi comments, and now the "secret" workout?

This is either the biggest smokescreen ever from the Raptors, or they did not do a good job hiding their Essengue interest.
Tre Mann should have been a Top 10 Pick in the 2021 Draft

lol as they should. Pelicans and the Hornets the last two teams any young player would want to go.

Living in that city for a guy with trouble keeping weight off combined with their training staff probably isn't a recipe for success.

Yea just let him develop into a three. Keep him slim and mobile.

DQ is fitting. If I'm Dairy Queen, I'm becoming a sponsor of that team right away, and naming a blizzard after Zion.

Considering how secretive they have tried to be about their draft process since their interest in GIannis got leaked back in 2013 (I read it in a story about Bruno, apparently the Giannis thing contributed to how secretive Masai was about his Bruno interest the next year), I'm honestly having a hard time believing they got exposed like this for Essengue.

It's relevant in so far as it's not a great league, populated by a lot of guards and wings. Results should be calibrated and contextualized.

New Orleans can at least claim to have some draft developmental success in Trey and Herb

Who the hell have the Hornets developed since then? And no, LaMelo does not count he was a Top 3 pick.

My source is a redditor who claims to be a French reporter, so take it FWIW.

Draft is less than 24 hours away, so let's see what happens.
