This kind of comment just shows your agenda against Barnes. Here are his last 10 games vs Cavs before tonight.

14-10-5-1-1
16-11-7-1-3
24-10-8-3-0
18-7-7-3-1
9-6-5-0-0 poor
24-10-10-1-1
20-6-5-1-1
15-8-3-1-1
12-3-5-0-2 poor
25-10-4-2-0

He isn't a "natural" scorer so expecting nights like tonight is setting yourself up for disappointment. But this myth that Barnes never plays well vs the Cavs is just that, a myth.

He averaged 16/8/6 on 49TS% against CLE before tonight. That’s horrid.

We got Pacers/Hornets/76ers (no embiid?)/Wizards/Nets/Cavs/Pacers/Hornets

We could be 13-7 or 14-6 before our matchup against the Knicks on the 30th.

6 of the next 8 should be guaranteed wins.

That would put us at 13-7 at worst.

not necessary...refs can easily rob you of a few games, or cold streak and be 5-5

No they don’t lol

Walter needs some G-League time, as does Mogbo. But they’re 2nd year guys. They’re not necessarily gonna be big time contributors. If they’re like this next year we can talk.

Ochai will be fine to. The guy should be getting all of Walters minutes.

Sure but we’re not seeing progression and tentatively have guys above them in rotation for the foreseeable future.

Battle should be taking any minutes Ochai or Walter get

Ya there are no guaranteed win for a team like us yet. We should win but even the great teams drop games to those type of teams.

When Cleveland went zone, why wasn't Battle sent to check in?

Battle is going to end up being a really good player for another team, we're completely disrespecting him and how good he's been. He needs more minutes.

It feels nice to finally see Barnes emerging into the player we were hoping for.

I've said this before when he wants to be, he's a force that's hard to stop.

Might be the first time I saw him actually get the better of Mobley. I mean block his shots and score on him on the other end multiple times and looked like the superior player.

I was watching the cavs feed it almost sounded like they were hoping he was hurt when he was on the floor laying down tired like well get back to you with an update and then ha he's just tired.

Finally a statement Win, team has ways to go but finally showing some positive signs.

That's what Barnes/Yak outscored Mobley/Allen tonight by.

Few would have guessed that.

I believe it's also the first time Mobley & Allen were held to under 10 points each when both are starting vs Barnes. Impressive game and team effort all around.

I mean we’ve also seen these two guys play a whopping 125 mins (Ochai) and 97 mins (JKW).

After about 100 minutes this year IQ was shooting 18% from 3 and averaging 15ppg. You can’t freak out over next to no time on the floor.

For all intents and purposes, JKW and Ochai have not really even played enough for us to say they haven’t progressed. Ochai especially has enough of a body of work from thousands of career minutes that we should expect he will be alright.

Just like Cavs to us tonight. Few expected that.

The starting lineup so desperately needs another ball handling defensive guard in the line up.

It unlocks the 2 way potential for the starting lineup and unlocks IQ to become a lethal shooter.

Quickley has a proven track record of success to expect he’ll pick it up. Walter does not. Last season Walter was meh as well. Ochai actually played well last season whic makes it more perplexing that a guy like Walter and even dick was ahead of him.

No it doesn’t. The bench needs an upgrade. Can’t have dick and Walter being your go to wing players off the bench.

Yes it does lol.

Our bench doesn’t need an upgrade, they’ve been winning their minutes. The starters can’t say the same.

We need to change the SG position eventually.

I think we gotta keep criticizing them cuz it seems to be working, IQ has been great lately but don't wanna jinx it.
