Bobby has been a gm since at least the kawhi tried and was the one who orchestrated it through his connections. What are you talking about man.

We have no idea who to give or not give credit to between Masai and Bobby.

This comment makes absolutely no sense. I can’t believe I’m hearing this from a mod tbh. It’s not that hard to understand. Lmao. You guys sound like conspiracy theorist flat earthers. Bobby Webster is the gm. When you move to a position like president you simply oversee decisions you’re not the one making moves like…

When masai was the gm before Webster who was making the moves? Tim leiweke?

You can't make this up, omfg.

Why are you on Reddit for basketball discussion? It’s absolutely awful. I’m embarrassed by the Raptors subreddit whenever I land there.

Scottie did exactly what he was supposed to do, but it was good to see CMB rise to the occasion even though this will probably be one of his easiest matchups all year. If Paul George and Embiid play these performances don't happen.

If you hate to be that guy, just don't be that guy

Philly's Top 10 in rebounding this year and still had 5 guys in their lineup with 7'2" wingspans, even with Embiid out. Those were well earned rebounds

Dick should be removed from rotation immediately. His non corner 3s are not even close the man has forgotten how to shoot

Except we know this isn't the case with Masai and Bobby. They were clearly a duo working together, collaborating on moves. We don't fully know the division of labour, the 'who has the final say' type conversations.

It wasn't your typical President/GM relationship.

Nick "good luck with those guys" Nurse was salty you could tell.

Darko saw that and did a smirk and walked off.

IQ, Dick, and Ochai for a solid guard starter, and you’re set. Lamelo maybe? Because our defence is good enough to use him

Lamelo/Shead
RJ/Martin
Ingram/Walker
Barnes/Mamu
Poeltl/CMB

Lamelo’s playmaking is perfect for this team

Lamelo is the obvious answer for this team man. One can only hope.

I've been watching this team is before the bargaining days.

If this team trades for lameo....... shot the Winnipeg jets are more worthwhile to watch

Masai thanking you for hiring Darko after firing Nurse, we needed a culture reset & Darko has implemented that to the tee
Masai thank you for the OG trade, I'd much rather the 2 for 1 of IQ n RJ
Masai thanks for the BI trade,

Masai, THANK YOU

Masai wanted Maluach. Bobby overrode the decision.

You can thank Masai for bums like Dick, Walter, Chomche

this narrative gotta stop lol josh lewenberg is the clown who keeps putting out that nonsense with bobby/masai differences when its all false.

masai was all in on CMB

from pelley:

Keith Pelley specifically said Ujiri told him about how special Collin Murray-Boyles is and how excited he should be about him.

Nurse really should have went smaller. Bona had like 2 defensive rebounds out there and was selling out on blocks that left CMB wide open under the rim multiple times that cost them the game.

You’re friends with them? You work for the organization? How do you clearly know?

Also how is it possible to know they were clearly working together but not know the division of labour! Wjay are you even basing this on?

Lmaoooo… dude that was so premature since edgecombe tied it. I mean I understand the passion in the moment but he’s a rookie and Maxey is a star… needs to humble himself a bit imo

I mean, we have behind the scenes footage of them in draft rooms discussing moves, clearly working together. They have spoken how about how they have a close working relationship and make decisions together.

What more do you need? What we don't know is really who to praise and who to not for certain moves because we don't know what happened with those moves. Did Bobby make that move? Did Masai pull rank and make the move? Did they work together? Did one disagree?

The point is we don't know.

It takes some big balls to talk trash to Maxey as a rookie.

I like it.

Very disappointing that with so many starters missing games IQ has not been able to step up and have a great game while guys like CMB/Martin/Shead have really stepped up - tonight 6-22, just putrid!
