Most of these dudes are just talking heads. Especially that dude with his finger raised...super obnoxious dude. I was telling my friends that Celtics team was lucky to have gone as far as they did in 2018 in the east, they could have EASILY lost to the bucks in their 7 game series who had no coaching at all in ROUND 1 and no one would of heard about them. No real elite level talent potential except Tatum is he continued to improve and I was telling them he was about to get pigeonholed when Kyrie and the non athletic Hayward get back. Look what happens.

Could this be the last championship mostly won because of injuries ? now that we have changed the league with load management ? assuming of course that other teams will all start to protect their super stars .

I just realized Danny Green was the defender during both times Klay got injured. He must hate Danny a lot now.

How many teams in this league can afford to sit their super star 20 games and still get home court advantage in the NBA finals though?

Would they care about home court advantage ? We seemed to play better away .

I think that is what accelerated the development of some of the young players like Siakam and FVV being relied on big. Siakam was especially the go to guy in those games Raps went 17-5. OG also played much better with the increased role.

Teams can try but will fail miserably unless they don’t mind taking a risk missing the playoffs all together (what would the point be then of load management?) or at the very least lose home court past the first round.

Raptors also would have no shot of being able to do this if they did not have the key young players like Siakam and OG who can eat 30+ mins a nigh making pocket change in their entry level deals. Smart management and drafting is the key to having that pipeline flowing.
