Big development this game. The coaching staff and team let Barnes take over this game. He basically controlled the game for that entire second half and you saw Siakam and FVV play off him more. You kind of got a sense what next season would look like and you can see he's not 2 or 3 years away but will be ready next season to play 1A or 1B with Siakam.

Scottie's defense is getting better and better. He's not noticeable when he's defending guards now where before you noticed guards blowing by him. He's learning to work his angles better.

But man, the way he just took over this game was amazing to see. We haven't seen something like that in a long time. We have seen scoring bursts from people but the way Scottie can just do everything on the floor is so special.

Yeah I don't think you could watch that game and not think Scottie is gonna turn into a superstar.

He had a few mistakes tonight like the Westbrook strip but I don't think in anybody's wet dream could they imagine that he would be this good this early.

S.U.P.E.R.S.T.A.R

All 3 Toronto sports teams have generational talents: Vladdy, Matthews, & now Scottie.
In Masai We Trust :meditate:

I'm sure Masai got the last word, but I really think that this was a Webster pick.

You’re actually wrong. Masai was scouting him for years

Pretty sure it was Webster who made the comment about the org scouting these players for years. Just look at how excited Bobby is when they made the pick.

I worked for the organization for 5 years and his name was talked about since his u16 days. Masai is also really good friends with Leonard Hamilton.

Please don’t make assumptions that this wasn’t a Masai pick.

This guy just did everything. He plays like he's in his prime. That poise is crazy. I hope as his jumper develops that he doesn't go away from attacking the defense in the paint. His touch inside may already be top 5 in the league.

Everyone needs to take a step back and realize this year doesn't matter.

What does ****ing matter is that we have drafted a future superstar.

I really don’t think we’re done seeing this kind of performance from Scottie this season.
The lakers doubled him towards the end of the game and that can only bode well for the half court offense in the future.
