Not sure what Shannon Jr and Holmes were thinking pulling out. There's nothing left for them to prove in college (maybe the NIL money was too tempting or they took a look at next year's poor draft class). Sucks. Homes would have made a great backup big for us. Much prefer him over Koloko

Wanted to share this shai breakdown by Mike Schmidt pre draft , half the board is yearning for a shai trade but if you fast fwd to 4.44 of Shari's limitations I would ve had my serious concerns , kudos to him to addressing his weaknesses and it's now a strength of his, for everyone here looking at stats example and putting 18 , 19 yr Olds in a box, u never know

NOOOOOOO...I wanted Mongolian Mike!!!

Smart decision for him though. He's such an fun player. A little more strength and improved shooting, and he's a lottery pick next year. Really hope he picks Indiana. Would love to see him playing off Ware.

Ware picked an odd team to go to. He would’ve been much better suited with a great passer like Mike, Taran Armstrong, etc.

I doubt it. The kid is like a 32% critic score on rotten tomatoes but the audience gives him a 79%.

I hope he got a promise because if there isn’t one he’s getting some horrible advice from somewhere

Nbadraft has Colby Jones pick like 50.?? Can we drop Flynn and get this guy? I'm a fan. Also pass on George and sidy for pick 13.

Lol. Maybe a little hyperbole, but next year's draft is THAT bad, and Mike's passing is pretty darn special. The NBA love tall playmakers, so I see it.

Ya, you absolutely cannot point to a Kentucky guard with a 9 bpm as someone that numbers people missed on. Wallace has a 7.7 bpm and numbers people love him.

We saw Nowell earlier and Maxwell Lewis last week

Those are the 3 we know that have been worked out by the Raptors. 2 are sure fire UDFA's and Lewis is late teens early 20s. He's the only player who could be in consideration with the 13th pick.

Maxwell Lewis at 13 would leave me sleepless for months, possibly years. At least he's better than NSJ, JHS, and GG Jackson, but there are absolutely 100% superior prospects available @ 13 to him.

I was more concerned abt Shai's shortcomings than numbers and how that can limit scouts projections of a player , it's crazy he's become one of the best scorers this season

Interesting to see Edey going back, I figured a good European career was on deck. I'm not sure what he could do to improve his stock besides invent a time machine.

People underrate acceleration and deceleration as a skill.

It's one of the most scalable skills in the league if you can master it. Shai showed alot of signs of it but he went up another level with it in his 2nd year.

Luka had it since he was a 16 year old. Jimmy has it as well.

He's a late 2nd rnd pick for me. He's talked about as a defensive specialist, but his stocks are meh. He also can't shoot, good wingspan though.

The way he glides on the court like Jimmy is insane lol. I keep seeing him in him. Biggest thing that concerns me outside of his jumper is his lack of a first step though.

Sidy and Scottie together are pure entertainment, but I just wish they could shoot.

They have the exact same weaknesses and strengths, it's uncanny.

IF we get lucky and get simons + Scoot for Siakam, I wouldn't mind getting Sidy at 13.
