No one’s being fooled by gym workouts. We all know he had a lacklustre season. I’m talking about him being a 6’9” PG. He’s definitely on our board.

Point guard that can't penetrate or shoot is no point guard. Not even as if they played in a super tough conference either. You see what you wanna see but there's nothing intriguing there

I don't get the love with Sorber all of sudden....I have many bigs over him....Asa Newell/Khaman/Queen/Flemming are all better than Sorber.....Sorber is the same height as Queen/Newell....But also less skilled....Sorber is the definition of an old school big man....I would like him if we were in the 17-22 range but at 9 there will be better bigs on the board....Is it just the wingspan? Because skill wise i think hes a tier below the bigs up top...

I'm so often wrong we should probably take him. But Denim is on my do not draft list.

After sleeping on it, #9 is a good spot for us. We will be getting a solid player to add to this group.

We either get a guy who falls from consensus or pick from the front from the rest of guys. After 4, seems like the talent tier levels out. I like choosing from Jak, Carter Bryant, KM, Noa, Fleming, Sorber.

9 has been good to us in the past. Time to do it again

then it would be an absolute waste of a top-10 pick. I'm not really certain, but I don't think he's even be eligible for an O1 visa because the current administration's stance on South Sudan. Which really sucks, we should be able to debate whether or not to select players on their merits, not their passports.

Ik its not the sexy pick and many here will prolly hate it but if Kon falls to 9 that is prolly the pick....It would be tough roster wise but i think we pick BPA no matter what and if hes there at 9 he will be undoubtably BPA.

Size: 6'10", 198 lbs

Age: 18

Nationality: France

Pro Comparisons: Jerami Grant

Big scoring outputs are becoming more common for Noa Essengue in the German BBL.

The easy baskets off rim runs, cuts and offensive rebounds have been consistent all season. But he's looking more comfortable converting off self-created drives and knocking down rhythm threes.

His improving on-ball skill and rising offensive production are becoming notable draft storylines, considering he's the draft's second-youngest prospect who also offers exciting defensive tools and movement.

Team Fit: Essengue already feels pretty Raptors-y. He’s young, long and athletic, and he should shine in the open floor and do some interesting things on defense. He’s also a work-in-progress shooter who lacks polish offensively. —Zach Buckley, NBA Analyst

Yeah that's my thought. If Kon falls, you take him as BPA.

Then you do a hard look at Walter / Dick and deal one for a FC depth.

It’s absolutely intriguing, and he’s definitely on our board. He’s not #1 on my list, but if we take him I wouldn’t be shocked. I’d still prefer Bryant.

Kasp

I think I will take Bryant or Queen over Kasp, but Kasp is okay if we do pick him. Lots of options at the 9th pick; I really don't think there is much of a tier difference between say 5-13; they all have some pros and some cons - all are between good role player to potential starter level.

On god... He's probably gonna rise. If he does, I'm probably in on Traore.

Kasp is on my DND, or was when we were projected to be 7th. I'd take a few prospects over him, but who knows man.

9. TORONTO RAPTORS — Carter Bryant | F | Arizona
Profile: 6’8”, 214

Year: Freshman (19)

6.5 PTS | 4.1 REB | 1.0 AST | 0.9 STL | 1 BLK

46.0 FG% | 37.1 3P% | 69.5 FT%

37 Games | 19.3 MIN

Rucker: Raptors fans were hoping for some lottery magic last night. Instead, they find themselves falling to the ninth spot. This is where things could get interesting for a number of teams, as it could be where the “should we keep it or move it” debate begins. For a team like the Toronto Raptors, they could be in a sweet spot to take a bit of a swing. Toronto would most likely love for Khaman Maluach to be on the board, but he went one pick earlier to the Nets. While South Carolina sophomore Collin Murray-Boyles could be another option, Arizona freshman forward Carter Bryant gets the nod here. Bryant is a high upside offensive weapon who knows how to make winning plays and has taken huge strides forward with his development. Bryant continues to show a high work ethic to unlock levels with his game. He showed some fantastic growth defensively as a freshman and ended up as one of the top perimeter defensive prospects in this class. The three-point shot has taken a huge step as well, and Bryant has the athleticism and power to go with anyone. If the handle continues to develop, he’s going to be a heck of a get for his next franchise. For the Raptors, it’s another high-level type of wing that you would love to have at your disposal.

Idk....Tbh it would have to get resolved before the draft for us to even consider him though.
