While I agree, Kawhi was an expiring contract while Dame is locked up for 4 years. Although I'm sure most ppl wish they weren't paying his ass 60M when he turns 35 and 36 lol

The spineless NBA commissioner needs to clamp down hard on Lillard... tell him you play or we fine your a** out of the NBA.... either way want no part of this player and would never trade a pascal or OG for him..

They same exact **** was said about Kawhi, even after we traded for him. It doesn’t mean anything. Lillard would like to be paid his $40 million dollars.

This probably means the Raptors have a better offer on the table than Miami. Shams pretty much works for the Heat. The Raptors stared down Kawhi's bluff before. They didn't even know if he would show up after they made the trade. Still made the deal. Lillard cannot refuse to report. He would have to retire from basketball.

That's what's left on LIllard's deal. Lillard would play in my backyard before siting out.

exactly, what this tells me is Toronto is actually giving this a go and made an offer

Dame can't say it himself so he used his mouth piece to tell Toronto to back off

If a situation like this did happen, I agree it would be better for the league, rather than the organization, to discipline him. A lot of owners/managers probably feel like they're looking down the barrel of a gun when a franchise player does something like this.

The league already has a collectively bargained remedy for this.

Scottie
Precious
Boucher
Young
Porter
Dick
2 picks

For

Dame

Dame/Schroeder/Flynn
GTJ/Dowtin
OG/Temple
Pascal/McDaniels
Poeltl/Koloko

I mean...that is still the best roster Dame has played with since the Lamarcus Aldridge/Nik Batum era...

Top 5 in the east?

That's way over what the Heat are offering. No need to trump them by that much.

Is that what we're going for now, top 5 in the EC?

He'll be closer to 34 years old once the playoffs start. Giving up Scottie, Dick, and picks for what may be a 2 year run is bleh.
