Get er done Masai.

Why wouldn't the Pacers just get Markkanen themselves?

They'd have to deplete their team.
We can add more assets and picks going to Utah.
In Masai We Trust :meditate:

Probably develop Scottie and IQ more I guess.

Was hoping theyd get some decent wing/POA defenders who can shoot from a Siakam trade.

Wonder if ATL still wants to shed salary if they would be down for a bruce Brown - Deandre Hunter swap?

Lol what? They are giving up 3 frps, a prospect and 2 players, while we are giving up 2 expiring UFAs and a pick we might not even be allowed trading. What are you talking about.

In what way? All they're getting from us is Trent and a 1st rounder. That would hardly take anything from their end to improve asset wise.

Ya outside the fanbase people find it insane the Pacers would give up 3 firsts in a Siakam trade.

Combo of the GB undervaluing pascal and this board overvaluing him.

Not a surprise really, people think he's turning 30 so must be washed up soon. He actually has a lot less mileage than most 30 year olds that are star level though because he got a late start to Basketball as well as coming into the league at 22 instead of 19 and 20 like most do on top of his first 2 years as a role player. I wouldn't love a 5 year deal but a 4 year should work out fine, because you only need 3 good years out of him as the 4th year ends up being an expiring and probably gives him neutral value at worst even if injuries or his play dramatically falls off.

People get excited to hear 3 1st round picks but when you look closer, it's 2 late 1sts in a weak ass draft that we already traded a top 6 protected pick away in.

His contract situation really killed his value.

They shoulda moved on last season.

It is not a top 6 pick, it can’t be a top 6.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

If they're doing a pick package, maybe other teams can provide better picks. The appeal with Indiana was maybe landing Walker. If thats not available, the word is now out and other teams can top it if they so choose.

Fanbases in general overvalue picks in trades

Especially without knowing the year or protections? This is premature, frankly.

With Sacramento reeling, I wonder how long Murray will be untouchable for.

Next we get the Pacers walk away

Followed by Masai keeps asking for more

Followed by widespread hysteria that Masai and Bobby are trash

Pretty shortsighted move to re-route the assets we get back for Lauri/Murray or whatever, that would been a panic move par excellence.
We don't even know how we work with IQ, RJ and SB4, that would be a all-in move, and too much of a gamble.
