Could be a lot more movement than normal in the top 10.

Portland at 3, Dallas at 10, even the Rockets at 4 could make moves with their pick. Some trade up scenarios in play.

Put yourself in Portlands shoes .....You have the choice to build around potentially Scoot/Sharpe/Simons or you trade for a 30 year old Siakam and keep a 32 year old Lillard to try and win now.....Just do not see a Lillard/Siakam Duo doing much damage in the playoffs especially in the west.

I would do OG for 3rd it'll be a great roleplayer at best. I would stick with Hendricks in that range if we want a strong complimentary piece. Hendricks elite shooting and rim protection at 6'9 would give us a great small ball center at worst. It's a safe and easy choice especially if Portland is desperate. We would have an elite shooter and 2 rim protectors on the floor at all times.

The Blazers are attempting to thread a tight needle between navigating Damian Lillard's prime and rehauling an increasingly young roster highlighted by the promises flashes displayed by last season's lottery pick, Shaedon Sharpe.

this mock is kinda shyt

OKC, TOR dumb picks for them

Cason would be a terrible pick for OKC. They already have 3 handlers in SGA, Williams, and Chet. Just let him fall to 13....

Though, knowing the Raps, it'll probably be someone I've never heard of.

Same prospects for me with the 13th pick. Either players that would be solid or high upside pick.

Hendricks makes a lot of sense for OKC in a trade up scenario. Rim protector who can play with Chet and space the floor for rim crashers like SGA.

Lillard + Siakam is more sure thing than Scoot, Sharpe and Simons.

Siakam and Lillard would win a lot of games in the regular season. They will definitely consider it imo. Masai is the one that probably doesn’t wanna move Siakam.

Its about age at this point....Lillard is on his final stretch and Siakam is entering his peak years....You also have to take salary into it...2 players will be max contract players and 2 will be on rookie salaries .....Siakam/Lillard might win you a round but thats about it....I don't see a deep run with them...

Also Siakam is going to be a free agent i doubt Portland trades a top 3 pick for a guy who will be able to walk in free agency....Just does not make sense

I'm interested in the Dallas pick. I'm sure Bobby was chatting up the Dallas GM tonight at the lottery after party.

Can we just drop this already? How can Portland possibly give us enough salary to match (or meet CBA regs) for Siakam's $38M? It just isn't happening. We don't want Nurkic so... ??? Drop it.

I agree. They need someone in the Jaren Jackson mold and they're set up front. I think they also need some hard collapsing rim pressure. Cam Whitmore or a Thompson twin would be great for them.

No one is trading a top 4 pick for the right to overpay Pascal for one year.

If you want a top 4 pick in this draft you're going to have to move Scottie. Scottie for Miller or Hendricks would be a lateral move but would at least balance our lineup if you were to go down that route.

OG for #10 and salary filler (Bertans most likely),
then draft whatever 2 of the following four Masai likes the best:
Leonard Miller
Gradey Dick
Cason Wallace
Kobe Bufkin

But knowing Masai, there won't be a trade and it will be one of Wallace or Bufkin.

We have to shed salary, so OG is the player other teams want. Plus, we need some 3 point shooting, just in case both FVV and GTJ walk.

It seems quite obvious Portand should trade Dame. But who makes sense given they would want a young big C or F.

Not many teams with extra young bigs.

Fair enough. But what contending team needs to upgrade their PG that badly? Ok, Lakers, but what contending team with parts that can be sent back, matching salaries, that would be desirable to Portland, need to upgrade their PG? The Cippers?

Yea but Portland is clearly looking to please dame and keep him

That is their office's incompetence, so we are making mock trades on the same train of thought.

I suggested a few months ago that we explore trading for a package centered around #10 and Jaden Hardy.

Okay then let Dame be pissed and they are forced to trade him away instead.

Why do we care?
