definitely can't shake the feeling that Pacers got him for cheap....all we can hope is that this propels Barnes into superstardom by allowing him to take full control of the team.

Not only are all of these reports hearsay but it's also a matter of opinion of what trade package is better. So how can you be sure that Masai missed out on some better deals?

Because we could have gotten Walker, Mathurin or Nemhard in the deal. But that is in the eyes of the beholder. For me now is what do those picks become? Will they be consolidated or will they use them all?

Shams specifically said no high end talent young player was offered. He said the Raps were interested in Mathurin and Walker, but they were not offered, nor was Keegan Murray or Moody, and the offer in the summer from the Hawks was Hunter, AJ and an unprotected FRP. I think Hunter's contract probably was not what the Raps were interested in.

I'm pretty sure FVV, OG, Siakam would still be here as a mid team

Only way that happens in my opinion is if thing totally doesn’t work and Pacers back out of maxing him. Very unlikely unless total crash and burn. I don’t think Pascal liked Nick or likes Embiid particularly. I could see him maxed in Detroit before 76ers.

That's for sure. We made our offer and he refused it. Indiana didn't get him for cheap. They traded away picks and assets for the privilege to own Siakam's negative value contract.

Pacers do have his bird rights so they should be heavy favourites to re-sign....Siakam wants that big 5 year contract.

Siakam was +17 today so they got killed in the minutes he sat today. That speaks more to their "untouchable" guys on the bench than it does for Siakam.

Regardless, I want him to score 50 points every game but lose since we have their pick lol.

Suggs has improved a lot and is a plus defender. Orlando not likely to trade him.
