Orlando’s defensive scheme is very admirable. They fight hard for their coach.

Nothing new for him, Nurse prepared him for this.

NY will be just as quick to turn on OG when they get his "no-show on offense" efforts in losses. They are already down on the fact he doesn't take a heck of a lot more than 10 shots per game. You can't force the ball through OG. You have to find him open, and that is what makes him defendable.

The big argument on their board is pro Randle vs anti Randle. He's had a couple bad games now, really misses Brunson. They really need that expected followup trade to get another scorer/creator.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Nice moment, Inside the NBA crew just interviewed GG Jackson, 19 years old, 8th NBA game, 23 points in the win over GSW. Ernie was really touched at the kid's sincerity and wonder at being interviewed

It's amazing how OG magically picks up only 1-2 fouls a game now, not counting his Knicks debut because the officials forgot he wasn't a Raptor anymore and fouled him out.

Taken 45th. Where was Bobby? Couldn't invest in a high reward 6'9 scorer? Smh

I’m really missing your Neemias Queta updates. How’s he been playing?

Don't understand what 3rd string means? Plays in case of injuries. You know, like what the Raps are enduring currently. Does this compute or does it have to be repeated a million times before its comprehended? That is an honest question.

Posters who didn't have the guts to make draft picks/projections prior to the draft really shouldn't be making "they should've taken so and so" posts after getting to watch all the prospects play for months after the fact.
ya, it's a lot easier to say in January who everyone should've taken back in June.

I spoke on Jackson before and at the draft. Late 1st, there is risk. At 45? That's a no brainer risk/reward value. I don't know how good he'll be in the end but at that age, physical profile, skills, how can you not take a chance.
If Raps didn't trade for Poeltl, perhaps they rake him in the 2nd. Delaying the rebuild has opportunity cost.

At least you mentioned the player this time. Not like the entire Kessler situation.

Who cares if anyone here mentioned a player anyways? It's irrelevant. Masai/Bobby are paid to take action. They haven't traded into a draft spot once yet in 10 years. I don't count the Vazquez for draft pick dump. Other GMs are active on draft day, these guys aren't for for some reason. Take a chance for once a high reward guy in the 2nd. Makes no sense especially when can buy picks in this league.

Because you don't measure GMs on single draft hits and misses. It's way too variable? You measure them on aggregate hits over a period of time to get a true reflection of their talent scouting ability.
If you want to say "I saw and mentioned GG Jackson", then show the rest of your draft recommendations and see how it lines up. And you spent the better half of a year talking about how Kessler was the obvious choice despite never mentioning Kessler pre-draft.

I'm glad to know you agree that what you say is largely irrelevant.
