What's really sad is that Washington isn't really playing with much intensity. Besides Pierce sticking it to Toronto, the rest of their team seem like they're just going through the motions.

The difference this entire series has been that Washington just goes for high percentage shots or passes to the hot hand for the 3, while Toronto is taking horrible percentage shots early in the shot clock and just playing hero iso ball.

If after 3 games, your coach can't reel you in and focus the team on a more concerted effort, then there's no reason for him to stay.

Right, we've clearly seen that WSH has practically laid out the red carpet for the Raps to come back on numerous occasions but they just continue to chuck low-% shots. I missed most of game 2 but based on the other games I've noticed Washinton playing like doodoo in 3rd quarters. If the goofs on the court aren't noticing, it's on Casey and the coaches to see that and get the guys going, and he clearly hasn't done that. I've tried to stand behind Casey but I mean this is just beyond pathetic.

~ 30-point lead, 3rd quarter not over. That's what I saw when I looked over a second ago. For an elimination game, that's about as embarrassing a performance as I can imagine happening.

Sadly, and particularly after last game, it was not entirely out of sorts with the potential for this series. I mean, WOW, though... where's the heart?
