It's not us. It's the hype from famous scouts. He's been compared to everyone from Paul George to Kawhi Leonard and Marvin Williams as a 3/4 mix who could guard some bigger, faster SFs and eventually work on perimeter skills. He'll function as a 4 though mostly.

i think we will be mad we didnt get 8th ... I have a feeling Chriss will get picked and one of Brown,Dunn,Hield,Murray will drop to 8 and we will just miss out on one of them unless Kings do something real dumb.

Hield has grown on me since the season ended. If he, Murray or Dunn drops I'll buy season tickets next season.

I think this is a weird narrative around here. I mean it's not like he's had a glut of blue chip prospects to groom. JV would be the closest thing to that and Casey started him from day one; and although he's brought him along a little slowly (not trusting him in 4th quarters until this year) JV has grown into an All-star calibre big man.

same team that took Jimmer Fredette, Ben McLemore, Thomas Robinson, Nik Rocks and reached on Willie Cauley-Stein in the lottery...and not a single solid NBA star among them...so ya...totally expecting them to **** this pick up too.

I'd doubt they reach this time. They need guard help and there will be at least one prime guard sitting there for the taking. The only curveball I can see them throwing is taking Korkmaz instead of a Hield, Dunn or Murray.

If I was Sacramento I would be taking a long hard look at wade Baldwin. If they believe in him he could be a great fit

It has not sunk in yet we went to the ECF and now have a 9th pick...If we get this pick right and grab a guy that is even at the talent level as a Myles Turner...How good can we be next year man...It looks like Davis or Skal atm since Chriss Jumping up so much.
