Huh so marco belinelli is good now. Wtf didnt we release him years ago. Hes been on like 5 teams since then. I dont know how anyone can say this guy looks good when i guarantee almost half of the people saying this have watched anything more then what they saw on youtube.

My board looks like this:

1. Simmons
2. Ingram
3. Murray
4. Bender
5. Dunn
6. Hield
7. Brown
8. Valentine - dont see SAC taking a big. They will reach here.
9. Chriss(to Denver)
10. Ellenson
11. Skal
12. Poeltl
13. Sabonis
14. Davis
15. Prince (to Toronto)
16. Korkmaz
17. Luwawu
18. Jackson
19. Hernangomez (To Toronto)

Ross and 27 gone on draft night.

What trade are you suggesting here?

#9 + Ross + #27 for Den's #15 + #19?

Ross + 27 for Faried.

Would they do 3+31 for 9+27+Ross??

They're not trading #3 unless they get JV from us

they get Ross who will backup Bradley, and they can draft Poetl or Sabonis @ 9 then they have 15 and 27. If I am Masai i am working something with Ross and picks so that we can get Chriss.

I think there is like a 1% chance that we end up making more than 2 picks. I think there is only a 40% chance we bring two rookies to camp. Very good chance that #27 is a stash pick.

I would pick at 9 - this is going to be the best pick we have in the foreseeable future. We aren't getting a lotto pick, much less top ten for hopefully several years.

We can't add a bunch of rookies to this roster. Trading current prospects also pushes back the time frame for us to get better. Wright is a good player. Trading him for a younger guy that is needs development time makes us worse in the short term. An injury to Kyle or Joseph and boom we have a good young guard that can play heavy rotation minutes and knows what to do. That's what home court playoff teams need to have.

I have no issue with taking high ceiling guys that need time (esp at #9) but we can't kick the can down the road to much with development time, just to make room for more kids.

What trade are you suggesting here?

#9 + Ross + #27 for Den's #15 + #19?

Ross + 27 for Faried.

I think more realistically it would be Ross, 9, 27, for Faried & 15.

If DEN didn't include the #19 then the hell with that trade. Faried really doesn't improve our team that much.

If Korkmaz pulls out of this draft, I guess I'd take Luwawu. Good length, shot and athleticism and defensive potential. I won't be mad if we take Skal and I'll be okay with Poetl. I want nothing to do with Ellenson. If we're drafting a PF they should at least have potential to be above average defensively and look like more of a long term solution beside JV.

So? We released Hassan Whiteside and we know how that story turns out.

Agreed. Faried is just a good rebounder and makes some highlight reel dunks. He's a poor offensive player and defender. If we want that type of player we can just draft his clone Brice Johnson at 27 and pay him a rookie contract for the same role.

Hope he finds a gym to train in. The sooner he gains a few more pounds of muscle and strength, the better.
