Re: Tank World Order (6.0)
We're a .500 team while having guys in and out of the lineup and injured all year and we've gone through our COVID bout. TWO is a fantasy. We're late lotto at best (12-14). Is that better than a 1st round series against like the Bulls or Bucks and the 15th or 16th pick?

Yep.
A very nice draft class this year to add to the squad so that potential moves can be made to get the Raps on track for a legit playoff run.
the tWo movement is bigger than a first round playoff series one and done.

If you lose in the first round one year does that mean you stop building your team? We got swept by the Wizards. tWo is just a hangout.

youre looking at a 2-3 pick jump in the middle of the first round. I'd rather a playoff experience and the small, tiny chance at an upset than the 12th pick over the 15th

Well..Demar did get dealt for Kawhi after multiple first and second round exits.
Plus, YOnas and TRoss ended up getting deal to get to that point.
Demar was a lotto pick himself.
Bottom line, need lottery talent to win a 'chip at the end of the day.

You can pay for that experience with an NBA 2K game

Respect to you for a playoff experience and the small, tiny chance at an upset.
This tWo thread is not about that, though.

What?
And we don't win that championship without having had those playoff experiences in the past. Even Kawhi acknowledged this. Kawhi doesn't win the championship that year if our guys hadn't gone through all those playoff experiences in the past.
Will, remember what I told you about facts and opinions.

But you state your "opinions" as facts when they so clearly aren't.

Whatever shooting drills the Raps do with their player development...Benedict could certainly reap some rewards from as well.

you been listening to too much Roger Lajoie - "What is a few ping pong balls compared to play-off experience? (March 2021)"

How do you make the judgement that play-off series (where we likely get 50% gate revenue) is worth more than 3-4 slots higher in the draft (with higher chance of hitting top 1-4)? Masai and co may have a quantifiable metric to make that judgement, but I'm sure none on realgm has it.
