These are personal affirmations at this point lol

I know in my heart of hearts that my guy, who I suggested before anyone else, will be HIM!

If we stay at 7, I would honestly put more money on it being Queen than Malauch.

Scottie, RJ and Dick share the same agency as him. Plus I can see the higherups talking themselves into "fixing" Derik's defensive issues. Rebounding is a different story, even if you place him at the 4.

If we are picking at #7 and Ace is there...you take him and run. Ace's shot making is elite. Too much is made about his assist rate. And note that he rhymed off a bunch of guys with a similar assist rate and guess what...Gradey Dick and Ja'Kobe Walter were listed among them and both have pretty decent court vision and passing.

Bailey in Darko's system would absolutely be getting assists at a higher rate because of the quick decision making and emphasis on ball movement.

I can understand the MPJ comparisons but Bailey is just a bit bouncier. MPJ before the back issues was also pretty bouncy but MPJ with bounce is a really really good player. The injuries have sapped MPJ's athleticism.

There is no way I would consider Tre Johnson over Ace if it came to it. The length and shot making ability that Ace has...just too good to pass up.

Ace out of the top 4 is comically absurd. These draft guys are trying to get off hot takes so they can come back and tell everyone how smart they are.

Where would prospect RJ rank if he was in this class? I think he'd slot in at #2 on my board, a tier below Flagg but in his own tier with Harper.

If Dylan Harper is giving you 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists...you'd celebrate and call him the future. RJ does it...and he's somehow a 6th man?

And keep in mind...RJ averaged 22 pts, 7 rebounds and 4 assists at Duke.

??? Not sure where I said I was low or RJ or called him a sixth man. I said I'd have him at #2, ahead of Harper

I might have Harper slightly ahead, but Barrett would definitely be above Edgecombe, and most likely Bailey.

No...it wasn't you...it was directed at the RJ haters. I appreciate RJ.

It's who I compared Queen to.

Similiar size + length + playstyle.

Advance handles for a big man, but Naz Reid really worked hard to become one of the best shooters at the 4/5 position. This is an area Queen will need to work on to become an impact player at the next level.

RJ gets severely underrated by our fan base because hes not a home grown talent. He's a year older than Scottie and he's a more efficient + better scorer, while posting similiar passing numbers (RJ 5.4 APG vs Scottie 5.8 APG) ... but our fan base swears Scottie is a perrennial allstar, but RJ is expendable

I dont know how much I buy the old wisdom of FT numbers indicating a shooting touch but Queen FT% is higher and larger volume of shots than Reids college #s.

Id look more at a Sengun than Reid.....Queen has better passing and can be a offensive hub just like Sengun....Queen might have better handles than Sengun though....Reid is the better 3pt shooter....

So yeah if i had to compare id say Sengun is the closest thing to Queen.....Could say Sabonis or Joker as "Play style" and how you would want to use Queen eventually.....But yeah right now id say Sengun.

Yup. Also...I'm reasonably sure that the haters still think this NY Knicks RJ and probably haven't watch an actual game to see how he has changed since coming home. The actual player is never as exciting as the prospect and the thought of what he could be.

And here's the thing...BI and RJ are former #2 and #3 overall picks. If we luck out and get #2...Dylan Harper probably gets the same treatment once he starts playing NBA games and he's no longer a mystery box but an actual player with his own set of shortcomings, gets picked apart by the haters around here and it's on to lust over the next big mystery box. It's starting to happen with Scottie...and if we are lucky enough to get #1 and take Flagg...Scottie's the next former lottery pick to fall from grace because it will be all about Cooper. I'm not saying it's the entire fanbase but there are a lot of fickle fans especially around here that are just waiting to pit one player against another or have an agenda for or against certain guys. It's toxic, really.
