And when we say “Masai” we mean Bobby.

We just like to associate a pending crucial decision to him rather than pretty boy Bobby.

We need Masai to be making the ultimate decision.

Pinning our future hopes on a KD trade is a bad move imo. We have 3 guys who's value likely won't get any higher with us....PS and OG due to next contract and Fred because we should not be giving him his next one.

The time to strike is now in getting back at least 1 young guy with good upside for each if OG and PS. As well as a bevy of picks and filler. The heal should be to try and build around Barnes with as many future assets as possible. Who knows, in 2 years you could have SGA, Luka, etc... looking for new homes.

Asset gathering should be our top priority this deadline. Sell high while you can.

It makes perfect sense to sell off, at the very least on Fred. But this FO hasn't really earned the benefit of any doubt after their mediocre performance this past year.

We have the worst depth in the league and he thinks gutting our starting 5 for KD is a viable move ? :lol:

The team post trade still wouldn't even be a top 4 seed.

This is the one deadline where we HAVE to do something, it would be foolish to risk guys walking for nothing. Poor asset management.

The fact that Masai is waiting till the last hour is a clear indication to me that he is hoping KD becomes available. He definitely wants to retool rather than do a selloff. If KD is not traded then he probably pivots in last hour to trade Fred.
