I'm gonna talk abit about Jae who probably is going to be there at 37th because of the recent bad luck that he had.
Hand with 10.50 for Comparison: Festus Ezeli 10.75 Meyers Leonard 11 Thomas Robinson 10.50
Hand Length 9.50 for Comparison: Drummond 9.50 Meyers Leonard 9.25 Thomas Robinson 9.75

Now let's compare that thing with Kawhi Leonard who has a Hand Length: 9.75; Hand With: 11.25

So he has very huge hands similar to Kawhi's. I think he will have similar career. BTW One is 6' 6.5 and other is 6'7 not a huge difference. Both have dreadlocks.
They've similar appearance, similar height, similar hands. What differs one's wingspan 6' 9.25 others 7'3.

Lane Agility Jae 10.75 Kawhi 11.45
3/4 Court Sprint Jae 3.38 Kawhi 3.15
Bench Jae 17 Kawhi 3
No step vert Jae 30.3 Kawhi 25.5
Max Vert Jae 32.3 Kawhi 32

Conclusion: They're almost clones.

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

Everyone should check out Byu-Hawaii's Jet Chang he looks pretty decent IMO could be had with our late second rounder or even give him an invite to our summer league and see him play more intensely and see if he's worthy of a pick.

Raptors list of rookies should be PJ3, Lillard, Rivers, Waiters, or Harkless.
I say draft Lillard, Waiters, or Harkless.

The difference is that one went to a community college and graduated as a senior in the Big East, while the other played 2 years of college and bolted to the NBA.

Doron Lamb, Scott Machado and Bernard James would be great picks IMO. Bernard James would be pretty good in Casey's system.

Our 2nd round pick is quite late.
I would have no problems getting a 2nd round PG (assuming we didnt go PG in the 1st round), and have him as the 2nd-3rd PG for the season. I dont know if someone like Tayshawn Taylor is going to fall to #38, but he would be a good selection to learn under a PG with control like Nash or Jose.

I've actually stopped pondering these picks for the most part (minus Miller falling to us here) because I really think they're going to end up packaged with a couple of our guys in trades.

I second that;
I am all for a solid PG from a lesser school, or a four year center.

I would bet almost anything that CLE doesn't pass in Crowder 3 times in a row at 24, 33 and 34. Crowder is the stat guy pick as a steal this year and that probably means CLE likes him
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

I would be more than happy with Tyshawn Taylor. Unfortunately, I don't think BC has ever been a big fan of scoring pointguards.

edit:

I also, like this kid. http://www.nbadraft.net/players/darius-johnson-odom

Woodface wrote:Hollis Thompson from Georgetown - could be a solid role player in the NBA, outstanding 3pt shooter which is something the Raptors could use. For the late 2nd, probably someone to stash in Europe for a season.

We have apparently invited him to our workout. Solid 2nd round pick. I see him having similar career as James Jones but still young can be also a better player and worse. And I also agree if we pick him we should stash him in Europe, Rytas maybe, where Jonas played, they could be like our DLeague team?

How about the NCAA Div 1 Leading Scorer, Reggie Hamilton, Oakland

and

Quincy Acy, Baylor.
On Gerald Henderson vs Derozan:
"Yes. Hendo is quite a bit better than DeMar.
So yes, I do believe he's currently the better player and do project that will continue to be in the future. I would also take Turner over DD."

i have a feeling we're gonna draft a big man with our second, or BC might just trade it for cash like last year

Robert Sacre front page of the Province

Post#199 » by jim rockford » Thu Jun 14, 2012 6:46 am

lead story for the entire newspaper, not just the sports. vancouver's traditionally morning daily

http://www.timescolonist.com/sports/Nor ... story.html

doesn't seem to be much buzz out there about him getting into first round. i guess we'll see. looking at first round mocks. not sure centers are in vogue as much anymore vs. pre 3 point line?

Sacre will be lucky to be 2nd round pick unfortunately.
Raptors could bring him to camp and either stick him a D League team or get him a Europen gig.
Kris Joseph will go in 2nd round.
