Is it me or did the broadcast crew call out Demar and his selfish ways a lot during tonight's game?

George is an excellent defender but Derozan needs to get his head out of his ass. The only Raptor will a negative +/-. Too many forced shots yet again.

+/- doesn't tell the whole story at all man. I've heard announcers all over the nba **** on that stat for good measure. It works better for hockey because so few goals are scored. In basketball that number can easily be skewed based on runs, which basketball is a game of.

Demar definitely could've played even better, but he was instrumental to this win tonite.

If only DD could provide 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists when going 6 for 19. All while being the offensive on the entire team, which thankfully he isn't.

**** ya man it sucks... only if he could be a 6'10 sf instead of a 6'7 sg. It would kinda make a difference.

Fun fact: shooting guards need not be one-dimensional brick-layers. Unless I missed that part in the rule book.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

I thought Ross played better than Demar boneheaded 1 play fouling stucky on a 3pt shot made great to bismack creating for him. There was one play JV had a good post up chance he looked away and I know Demar hit the shot but damn this guy is so selfish

Stats hardly tell the full story.

Okay... tell me the story. I'd like to hear it. Because you can argue that his impact is that he draws a lot of attention and frees up guys, but we've played better without him on the floor. Our biggest leads were when he wasn't out there. He keeps talking about making adjustments and implying that he's going to show the 'haters'. He isn't doing anything. He got 2 rebs, 3 assists and 2 tov. Hardly a great stat line from a guy who has the ball 25+% USG rate.

I think he was agreeing with you. Saying that your username (UneducatedFan) is not representative of your strong post content

Ohhhhhhhh!! I read that totally wrong. Now I'll go cry in a corner for being an idiot.    Sorry CountOnAlex!!!

He still made bone headed plays and I still feel he played the worst out of all the raptors who played tonight but he was making the extra passes..

I felt that he played well until the end of the 3rd quarter, generally playing unselfishly and making good pass/drive/shoot decisions up until that point even if his shot wasn't falling. I was less enthusiastic about the way he played the final 14 minutes.

I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

- Demar played well. Not sure why people are getting on him.

- Carroll was HUGE tonight on defense

- CoJo remains the most consistent player on our team

- Lowry playing like Lowry again

Are you kidding? It's worse for hockey than it is basketball.
+/- isn't that accurate for close games but in a game where your team is ahead for pretty much all of it.. and up double digits from mid-2nd quarter on... and the other 2 guys that had 30+ mins had a +/- above +10... I'd say to have a NEGATIVE +/- in that situation is pretty telling. That's a pretty tough thing to do.

Carroll played great. If that dude plays like that the rest of the playoffs, we're going to be a really tough out.

Oh hush, KD went 7-33 the other night. It's the playoffs, defence is far more intense. Expect inefficiency. Playoffs are about winning, not stats.
