Is dickless?

Lakers and Boston will be the most likely suitors I suspect. Don't think he will commit to resign with us or that we have enough assets to outbid them.

Objectively speaking, OG + Delon + Raptors picks (i.e. very low first and second rounders) = very little value

So yes, a lot of teams can beat a package of Siakim + filler.

My thoughts exactly. Only way we would be in the conversation is if NO was enamored with Siakam for some reason (his unique skill set maybe?). But even then, a package like Siakam/JV/OG or Siakam/Ibaka/OG would be a long shot.

Brow joining the Lakers truly is waaaay better than having to see him and Kyrie Irving for years and years together on the Celtics.

The Celtics were supposed to be the next Warriors and Brow was supposed to be their crown jewel that they’d built towards. Instead, they will now miss out on him, Jaylen Brown is no longer looking like a potential superstar in the making, and Gordon Hayward has big question marks around him on that deal until he proves otherwise for a full season some season. Horford is getting older. Their other draft picks aren’t currently looking like surefire top 5 picks again thanks to the Kings playing better than expected.

For Celtics haters... it’s modest celebration on those fronts at least. They were looking way scarier about 18 months ago and like a potential dynasty. That is looking less likely today.

Would like to add they still have MEM pick which at this rate is gonna convey in 2021 as an unprotected pick. The Grizzlies might be the worst team in the league at that point.

Don’t underestimate a team that can’t keep its own pick. They’d have no motivation to be as bad as can be. It would be a little like the year Colangleo traded for Lowry and we opted to make the OKC pick late lottery by trying to be modestly competitive.

Grizz may tank to keep their pick this year by sitting guys and then use their top pick and whomever they get via rebuild packages and immediately spend. Grizzlies seem like a club content to treadmill a bit.

I personally think the Grizz are one of the worst run organizations in the entire league. Just last month they traded for Justin Holiday for not one but two 2nd round picks. I think they will be bad and bad for a very long time. The days of the Grizz being a cellar dweller are back.

Conley and Gasol are just going to decline. If they are a bottom 6 team now I have no doubts they will be worse in the coming years. And if they get traded within the next two weeks, they’ll cement themselves as a bottom 3 team for the next couple years.

Yes yes and yes. I hope Masai literally puts any piece they want on the table, outside of Kawhi.

If PHI had balls they would be.

Offer NOP, Ben Simmons and that's a done deal.

Siakam, OG, Wright and JV are all solid rotational pieces/starters for a rebuilding team. Heck, they might even be good.

Embiid and Davis frontcourt? Hmm. Don’t think that’s a good idea

I think Beal will be the next big name available, come trade deadline week.

Let everyone else fight over Davis, meanwhile let's swoop in and save Kemba from Charlotte

Teams with a top 2 pick are starting to look good to the Pelicans

Lowry+Siakam+OG+Wright+JV+1st for Davis+Holiday+Mirotic

Lowry's contract ends 3 years before Holidays so the Pelicans can shed salary. Raptors need a reliable backup C/PF in Mirotic. We give the Pelicans all our young assets with value on rookie scale contracts and as many 1st's as we can.

LMAO

then you trade him in the offseason at the draft. no point in trading him now.
raf1995 wrote:I just don’t think he has that kind of potential. I think we will regret not trading him for a haul in a few years when he’s a mid-tier starter with nice playmaking and defense and a shaky jumper.

I can totally see the Pelicans blacklist the Lakers.

They're probably mad the at the Lakers for tampering with Davis in the first place. They might ask for the moon from the Lakers while asking for a fair price from the other teams.

I just cant see the Pelicans giving in to the Lakers

This is good news for Raptors fans because it means Jrue Holiday and or Nikola Mirotic are now conceivably available to trade for
2016 GMAT Blazers

Howard/Nene/
Griffin/M.Leonard/T.Jones
Porter/Marc.Morris/J.Johnson
McCollum/Stauskas/Thompson/Seldon
Lillard/Bayless/DeColo

Return to Toronto Raptors
