We removed ourselves from the 1st round for Thad Young,
If that is better or not is in the eye of the beholder.

Gary Harris
Ben Mclemore

Aby of those guys would help us in a buy-out market

Exactly. The trade was mainly about getting far enough below the tax line to sign guys.

What about C's? Anyone besides RoLo?

People will say anything to justify this as a worth while trade, people always beg for Masai to buy a 2nd draft pick during draft night and he gives one away for Thad and now those people are saying late 1st round picks don't matter.

Whatever we will see what Thad provides. He could be serviceable but whatever.

Dennis Schroeder is the least offensive name on the list.

if Raptors get all the way to the ECF, i want a formal apology from Kirkwood.
raf1995 wrote:I just don’t think he has that kind of potential. I think we will regret not trading him for a haul in a few years when he’s a mid-tier starter with nice playmaking and defense and a shaky jumper.

I can't see how that's possible.

Bulls, Bucks, Nets and Sixers are all pretty clearly better than us, all things considered. Cleveland is balling too.

I think this teams ceiling is a second round exit

One thing became clear to me this trade deadline:

Bobby has taken full control now, and Masai didn't even seem peripherally involved.
