One of the long boys

Any of the 3 Millers look amazing as a Raptors (Leonard Miller in G-League, which haven't started, but may raise)
I'll never understand the Leonard Miller hype.

I can't get over what he does with his legs on jump shots, it really bothers me, it's weird

I'll watch more of him as the season goes on, but when he entered the draft last year he wasn't ready, he looked super raw. 2 years away from being 2 years away type of stuff.

Florida State freshman Baba Miller will miss the first half of the 2022-23 season after losing an appeal of an NCAA penalty over a travel benefit, the school announced.

In a release from the school, Florida State said Miller, a 6-foot-11 forward who played for Spain's under-18 national team over the summer, received travel from his native country to the United States and back to attend a training camp prior to his commitment to the Seminoles. Miller and his family repaid the benefit upon learning of the violation, the school said.

But the NCAA Committee on Student-Athlete Reinstatement denied Florida State's appeal, and Miller will not be able to play for the Seminoles until Jan. 11 against Wake Forest.

"I am very disappointed with the committee's decision based on the facts presented," Florida State athletic director Michael Alford said in a statement. "The decision seems disproportionate and inconsistent in today's modern environment. It's unfortunate that Baba will have to endure this penalty."

Miller had been considered one of the top international prospects committing to the college route in the Class of 2022. He had 11 points and seven rebounds in an exhibition win over Newberry College on Thursday.
Such bullsht. He should just sign with G league

Really liking Jalen Hood-Schifino's game. Solid. Reminds me of Malcom Brogdon/Jrue Holiday in college. Great touch around the basket, and I believe in this 3pt shooting (he's already a great mid-range shooter).

not sure I can cheer for a guy named dick haha.

"dick for the slam!"

"dick goes hard!"

"dick...left hand...wow! what a finish"

"dick is everywhere right now!"

"dick with the dirty dive!"

"dick...yes!"

nah I can't listen to that every game.

Jett Howard looked great in Michigan's exhibition against a Div 2 team tonight. 6'7 shooter who can handle the ball and is the #45 recruit on 247, definitely wouldn't rule that out as our first rounder if we want to stay real long and add a bench wing shooter with some size and just use Trent as the backup 1 on D and Scottie and Pascal handling the ball.

Kobe Bufkin looked good too, but my guess is he is a 2024 2nd rounder, not a 2023 1st rounder. 6'4 lefty shooting guard with good athleticism and a 3pt stroke.

I think he'll be gone unless we trade up a little or a few guys pegged for the late 1st or early 2nd really break out into top 5 college players like Sasser or Kris Murray. An elite shooter with good height probably goes around 15-17 and we pick around 22nd.

6'10 with 7'3 wingspan and decent athleticism, those are good potential. His ability to handle the ball at his size is rare, capable of bringing up the ball.

You are are pretty much looking at Siakam, Achiuwa type of big with the ball handling, so he could be in the 1st round. And his measurement and ball handling is pretty much the criteria we were drafting for these days.
Guys with his size profile aren't hard to find. The ball handling is a bit more rare, but still I don't see it being at the level of Siakam or Precious even in their collegiate days. I'd look elsewhere. He doesn't project more than a Jalen/Jaden McDaniels type to me, and I'm cringing even making that comparison.

We're not strangers to guys who are awkward stylistically, but this kid would be another level. Even his jump shot is weird looking. I'm not opposed to picking a guy who's awkward as hell if he gets the job done, but Miller is going to have to prove me wrong.

Gut feeling even this early is we'll draft Sidy Cissiko (I think few of us are getting that sense lol).

Oh man that would be nice. The great thing is this draft is so deep he might be available for us.

Definitely fits the mold. So much potential and really interesting play-making flashes. Swing skill is the shooting. Without it, he's Okoro or Culver. Would prefer we go with a surer thing shooting-wise, but wouldn't surprise me if he's the pick

It’s early so we’ll see as the year progresses how these guys do…but early on I’m praying one of Brandon Miller, Baba Miller or Jarace Walker slide to us because those guys do look to have more of a shooting touch and still fit the mold.

I’m really guessing Sidy because I’m making the assumption our pick is somewhere in the 20+ area but not trying to jinx but if more stuff like what we’re dealing with Pascal (unforeseen injuries) and it’s more severe to one of him and/or Fred then we drop a bit…then I’ll be hoping one of those 3 drop to us (Ware would be nice too). While not a perfect comparison physically & defensively kinda he reminds me a bit of Jrue or JButler but has that kinda well rounded, smart game that I could see Nurse liking.

As for 2nd rd my early prayer is Adem Bona falls to us there.

Agree with all of this. Brandon Miller looks like a top 5 pick from the (very) little I've seen. Baba Miller is still a mystery box for me, but looks to be perhaps the most stereotypical raptor in the draft (outside of Victor ofc). Jarace Walker is the guy I'm really keying in on though. We don't need another big wing, but he's got that OG frame, looks to have good form on his shot, plays hard, and is way too coordinated/instinctual with the ball to not succeed. doubt he makes it to our pick, but there's a chance he gets buried a bit on a super strong Houston team, so slips as a result. out of sight, out of mind maybe?

Julian Phillips (Tennessee) is another big wing that looks super intriguing. This draft is great!

Can't wait for college ball to kick off for real tonight!

His pull up jump shot is definitely better than Jalen / Jaden McDaniels, that would allow him to create. His ability to pass (vision) is definitely something I put him in the 1st round, and wouldn't be surprised he will be in the lottery.

The first game was in foul trouble, and his 3 point shooting form doesn't look good, but the 2nd game seems to have a better form. Wouldn't be surprised he becomes a much better shooter after this season:

Right now Miller can't defend a chair. He doesn't move laterally very well and his shot is wonky. Hopefully by the end of this season he improves a lot but this draft class has a bunch of beasts in it, he can easily fall to the second round. I also think his true position is a SG, can't make him a big - he doesn't play like one.
