Someone tell Demar that Siakam needed to pad his stats because he did not get his 25 plus shots tonight because Bulls were packing the paint with a true 7 footer inside.

When Pascal's volume is low, it's because he can't go into the paint against a true 7 footer. When Scottie's volume is low, it's because everyone else took all the shots. Oh, and both somehow mean Masai is washed, Bobby doesn't do anything, Jakob is ass, Dick is the biggest bust of all time and definitely no Walker Kessler, and FVV should be sent to Siberia.

Insert an ItsDanger obligatory drive by.

Bulls had paint packed tonight and that is why Denis had wide open looks from 3, against the Mavs they had no center because their starting 5 was out. Wizards no rim protector and one of worse defensive teams, Pacers have no PF and don't defend . So yes, Siakam tends to feast and pads stats against weak defensive teams.

Scottie will learn the hard way, scoring gets you noticed. No one cares about if your playing the garbage man role . Just look at all fans jumping on Siakam when he was not scoring. Part of the blame is on Barnes for not being aggressive and reverting to last season when he was too unselfish

Who said Dick was bust, just turned 20.LMAO , that kid is going to be fine

It's pissing me off tbh. He's our 2nd best bench player at worst and we've had a horrible bench all year and still he can't get his 20 minutes a game?

There has to be an agreed load managing thing going on because I cant wrap my head around it otherwise. Then again, Porter played in garbage time in the Orlando game.

Why hasn't any of the media guys asked him about this?

How can we possibly do that?

That would have been the reason to keep Fred.

Not that I want Lavine, but that really was what retaining him would have been about - trade bait when another team starts to fall apart - especially for an Illinois kid from Rockford.

Barnes/OG and Lavine would make for a very good offence, he is one year younger then Siakam and gives us that explosive SG this team needs

OG is showing that his defence and 3 point shooting is way too valuable. Siakam and Barnes will always be overlaps and that is never going to change. You can keep Yak on the floor longer with Lavine minus Siakam

Plans are to keep Siakam. Cry into your pillow.

Caruso's defence in the post was excellent during that horrific loss earlier this season. He's like prime Lowry in that he can give up 5 inches in the post and is still better than someone closer in height. In Lowry's case it was core (ass) strength, whereas with Caruso it's that if the ball is near him he might get a hand on it.

Agreed. Plus the league is soft now. Caruso is smart enough to exploit that.

We’re gonna give OG that kind of money. It’s just a new reality.

Does DeMar even watch the NBA? Every team is doing the same thing at the end of a tourney game

Do you have a rationale for that comment? Seems totally baseless considering everyone on this board screaming that this team needs a flat out scorer. What would we be missing?

It's hard to think Lavine could turn any team from play-in into a championship contender but we'd be a lot better for sure.

Lavine provides us exactly what we're weak at and his weakness is already our strength so it wouldn't hurt us as bad. Sometimes a fit is more important than the player's skill level itself.

Lavine had a great game but posters have gone mad here.

Ya but both teams were out of the tournament before the game even started. It's something you'd assume a team would know before getting all excited to take a shot at the end of a decided game lol

I'm shocked they didn't credit Scottie with the block.

Scottie should have 3 blocks.

Bro DeMar needs to stop crying all the time
Guys always been a whiner since he came into the league. Constantly complaining and being overly emotional.

Never admired him as much as most people around here do. I was elated when we traded him.

Does not even look him in the face.

This seems silly to me. Admittedly I'm a white guy and probably hug and dap like one, but no way I'm throwing in that heart pat at the end for someone I cannot stand.

I don't really know how you parse between Stoudamire, Calderon and Schroeder. They were all basically exactly the same level of player (Damon's raw stats better because his teammates couldn't create anything) but if Schroeder's 3pt shooting regresses to 34% or so I'd guess that he'll be #3 (or #4 if you prefer Stoudamire, who did later start for good Portland teams) behind Calderon for his strengths (shooting, incredible A/TO) over Dennis' (driving, not good on defence but better than Calderon), particularly on this team where we have defenders but could use more shooting.
Where's the D?
