Descendants was good the first few times I tried it but then it started getting inconsistent (sometimes dry and overcooked). Jaffna style is my favourite. Growing up in Scarborough, the kottu roti on top of a pizza was a unique touch (shout out to my Tamil boys and girls). Mutton rolls and Kottu roti were a staple during work breaks at my part time job.

Hmm, never heard of this. Need to try this when we visit the parents over the weekends

Home made pizza. Or from a small mom and pop shop like Papa Ceo on Spadina.

The vast majority of take out food and especially pizza is loaded with sodium and artificial ingredients (while every slice from Pizza Pizza has 12 grams of sugar).

Papa Ceo was a staple in my high school days.
I finally tried North of Brooklyn, had the pepperoni and killer bee. Both solid. Decent sized neapolitan style pie, though obviously pricier than chain pizzas.

You can make pizza crust by mixing canned chicken, parm and eggs. The keto people invented it.

I learned that if you add extra virgin olive oil with sea salt it can make even the worst pizza taste pretty good.

In the dough during prep? Or after it is done?

Bet. Yeah that makes sense. Didn’t realize how much sugar was in a pizza slice!

Cora's was bought out by Papa Ceo's I believe, and they moved into their space.

Papa Ceo's did get into some hot water a couple years back for health infractions and...kitchen visitors...(no surprise).

The building/area is going to be redeveloped soon, so...if you're looking for a nostalgia hit, better make it sooner rather than later!

All the really good pizza seems to be in the west side. That's like a whole different world to me and I rarely go there. When I first moved to Toronto I lived near Grace and College. There was a place that did just pepperoni pizza nearby as I recall and it was pretty tasty at the time.

edit: that vodka cheese slice looks so good. :droop:

No, it was Gino’s a little further W along Harbord.

Apparently you could order up 8 balls with your slice or pie. :)

anyone know how the badiali vodka cheese will hold up if i buy a whole pizza and put it in the fridge?

i haven't had issues doing this with pizza pizza dominos and stuff, but with the crust well done and all at badiali, wondering how cooling it and reheating it would impact quality. some pizzas are just meant to be eaten fresh i think

i cant eat the whole pizza in one day, those days are long gone
