On commentary. He keeps using the word "stupendous". I just find him inane.

Ya...that sequence was fun to watch. Has Thibs managed to tame Precious, finally?

The Knicks is what it looks like when a team has an identity

Precious looked awesome, wow. Knicks dont let him make decisions like we did, they just let him be the great defender and active guy he is.

They're in their early We The North Raptors era, down to their bulldog PG. I'm very jealous.

Yeah he was good. Unfortunately, his archetype isn't really going to work in Darko's system. Look at what's happening to Boucher as well. Guys that can't read and react quickly just won't be able to play in this system we're trying to put in place.

The Knicks are nearly within 1-2 steps away

Brunson is the player closest to Lowry in that regard, just too good!

It's just a style, his thing. He's like a civic institution in the Big Apple.

Again comparing him to alvin is criminal. His style of commentary ... And his charm ... It's his cadence and witty rhyming which at times makes no sense lol. But i used to watch knicks games especially when they sucked just to listen to walt

Give it up for the knicks free agent signings. Donte, jalen brunson and McBride are on bargain deals. Throw in harkenstein as well very nice pickups

Jazz v sixers was a good game.

I had an idea I havent heard before regarding fouls in the penalty.

We are seeing more of these late game scenarios where a team is up by 3 and in the penalty that is fouling on purpose to send the opposition to the foul line. It's not ideal.

How bout once a team's opposition is in the penalty and they commit a non-shooting foul....the possession gets to CHOOSE if they go to the line or if they go side-out. This keeps the spirit of the rule intact. It's SUPPOSED to be a penalty. Not a leverage point to win the game.

I mean....they are only gonna invoke the choice in extremely limited circumstances. The fouling on purpose strategy is ALWAYS anti-climatic and ruins what are great close games.

The tweak is simple and would only show up in late-game situations. In fact...it probably would barely ever be used because teams would simply stop employing the "foul on purpose" strategy to send their opponent to the line. The mere presence of the rule would eliminate the strategy.

Sometimes I forget Jalen Brunson is the son of Raptors legend Rick Brunson

With Philly hurting and Indy on the rise this might be a moment to take control of good playoff seeding and be a title contender.

As a Knicks fan...I'd rather lose for the next 10 years then bring Lebron here.

I don't think there's any chance LeBron goes to the Knicks with the Klutch/CAA stuff

Yeah building incrementally with solid undersung moves, and now OG and Precious. Not the kind of flashy splash moves you'd expect from the big city. Their next move this deadline will be interesting. Do they get a veteran bench guard like Brogdon, or do they try to replace Randle's scoring with a 4, or a scorer like Derozan. A solid glue guy defender like Caruso or Brown would kind of be more of what they have rather than fill a need for scoring, but Thibs would probably like it.

Or they could stand pat and wait for Robinson and Randle to be healthy next year or maybe playoff time

Does Luka stay in Dallas after he sees the success Brunson is having on a different team?

I have no idea what the Mavs are doing.
