Great game by Scottie. RJ continues to look.extremely confident out there. I think he is going to have a great season. The block, then dunk was amazing. His defense on Porter near the end of the game was clutch as well.
RJ has made strides. Especially on the defensive end. Jack Armstrong pointed it out as well.
I remember some posters on here claiming he couldn’t & wouldn’t improve because he was 24.

Both of those guys are good prospects, media was hating because they had some preconceived notion that they were gonna trade some of their picks but they didn't. A rebuilding team not in controlof some of their picks should definitely be drafting all the players they can
I think the issue with the pushback from media/fans was that the Nets drafted 3 straight guards with their picks.

Plenty of good players have been on tanking teams and haven’t regressed to the worst (ok, 2nd worst) volume scorer in the league.
And how are you going to say “too much stock in preseason” and then try and make your point off of a preseason game against one of the worst teams in the league? If the bad Barnes games mean nothing because it’s preseason then the good ones don’t mean anything either.

I know you love to put so much stocking taking seasons and preseason .. the narrative of some people.
Look if the guy bombs a season I'll be on board with accepting him as a high end Aaron Gordon as his likely ceiling..but I have hope.

It's a bit early for that isnt' it? Only Demin was high pick. He is the most important. As for the other we shall see.
