Just make it Trey, Alvarado, and Missi for IQ + picks.

Out front office isn’t willing to give up the capital to get Trey Murphy. It’s going to be a lot closer to the return Memphis got for Bane than most people realize.

Full court pass on Twitter? Ok. They weren’t linked to Trey Murphy in that Siegel article posted in the op.

Just don’t expect anything beyond a minor move to duck below the tax line and you won’t be disappointed

Figured as much - also, Trey is a forward and we already have B.I. And Scottie. Doesn’t really make sense. He’s not a 2 and we would lose the only player who can drive to the rim in RJ

PG Barrett - Shead - Chucky
SG Ingram - Walter - Martin
SF Barnes - Barrett - Battle
PF Sabonis - CMB - Mogbo
C CMB - Mamu - Sabonis

That team has absolutely no 3 point shooting.

Ah that’s unfortunate, always thought we needed an athletic rim runner C

I heard Lamelo is coming off the bench? He’s definitely getting traded.

It’s called injury management. Common practice

...and boy would we get destroyed at the rim!

Half the board seems eager to shake things up, but I haven't seen one convincing proposal so far.

The only thing I'd be somewhat open to is Ball for IQ with draft capital going to the Hornets. No idea why Charlotte would do it though, as Quick doesn't fill a need there, and also very wary of Melos health and leadership qualities. But on paper it fills the need of getting a "real PG".

Came off bench cause it was b2b and he is on a minute restriction.

Haha. It's like trying to sell your house right now. People want to list for 1.5 million, then take it off the market when the only offer is 1.1.

I like bringing Sabonis in with Scottie and CMB flanking him.

They cover for his defensive issues while he significantly upgrades the Teams rebounding and ball movement.

The knock on Sabonis was that you HAD to pair him with a defensive 4 or 5. What about pairing him with two elite defensive PFs who can guard the 5.

I mean, we should have drafted Sabonis in the first place but I sure am not a fan of his game lol

Terrible offensive fit, even defensively bad fit.

Sabonis is the worst "star" in the league. Can't shoot, undersized with t-rex arms = can't defend, and his playmaking consists of dribble handoffs.

We don't need another Thad Young and Jakob trade disaster, Bobby stay the hell away from that disaster

Any trade we make with the Kings we have to push for Devin Carter. And of course CMB goes to the bench. You start Shead and you live with what he gives you.

You have a multiple guard options off the bench with Monk, Carter, Jakobe. I think we could probably get a back up PG pretty easily and we still need a back up big but we’ve instantly upgraded our bench.

We can make a trade for Carter work, but it’s either Carter or Ellis. Or if you choose to include Jak then more needs to come our way.

I take Carter all day. We could literally sign Ellis as a free agent in the summer.

I like both. Ellis is restricted though, iirc.

yup he's not credible but I'd absolutely love Trey Murphy.

Quickley
Murphy
Ingram
Barnes
CMB

RJ + Dick + 2026 First Round Pick

Love RJ to death, but I'd do that.

Murphy's contract is beautiful. 28mil AAV for the next 4 years. Not sure why Pels would want to trade that away...

Yeah I am a big fan of RJ but would have to consider this.

That said, I’d far rather move IQ. This is a time where moving one or more firsts makes sense. Preferably not our first next year though.
I believe in Masai.
