I picked teams from every time zone, but only 2 in the east. When the Raptors are on, I don't watch other games, so too many eastern time zone teams doesn't make sense.

I have the Lakers as one of my teams. I know many are blacked out, but the majority are still available, including tonight's overtime thriller.

Ultrasurf is based near Raleigh, North Carolina, so you you should have no blackout issues. Any games involving the Raps and Lakers/Clippers will be blacked out with Hotspot because the server's in LA.

I use Hotspot and it's fine.. you only need it to log into League Pass, once the game has started just disconnect, otherwise it will probably lag.

Also for those who aren't interested in non-Raptor games, I'd suggest just choosing your other teams as you go along, no point picking them until you really want to watch them. I think teams that will end up 4-8th in the East are good picks since there will probably be a good fight for playoff seeds in March/April and the Raps should be right in there with Atlanta, Philly, Miami, Chicago, Washington

I chose

Raps
Detroit
Miami
Suns
Portland
Houston
Clippers

You have to chose teams that aren't shown much on national tv otherwise you will not get best value. Also try to chose one team in each division. Essentially between those teams you can probably get 60-80% of the games.

Hotspot Shield gives you a random location.

The games in the archive do not show the score, there is an option to click on each game to show the score but it is defaulted off so there is no worry about spoilers.

Blackout policies are so ridiculously behind the times. Talk about embracing outdated media paradigms... how long will it take for the media establishment to get with the times and go into this whole "digital revolution/freedom of information" thing with both feet? 20 years? 30?

Asinine.

Here in London (UK) league pass is amazing, no blackouts and all regular season games for every team for 100$ (lol, 60 pounds). The only problem is that im spleeping less since NBA tipoff.

How the tables have changed. It must have used to suck to be an NBA fan in Europe. Now you have it better off than us.

Yeah I cant pay for this, nice free trial run and all but it made me realise how many of the games you want to actually watch are blacked out. Sorry NBA, come back to me without the blackouts and Im in.

Did anyone NOT have the Detroit game blacked out due to it being on Fox Sports Net Detroit?

The game last night was not blacked out because I used Hotspot Shield. Being on Fox Sports Net made no difference.

Playoffs are not included..

And I have to say I'm really impressed with League Pass this year.. Much of the buffering issues of last year are gone and it runs flawlessly in full screen.. Also when you click a game it starts pretty quickly..

The only thing thats gonna suck is hearing the announcing crews of other teams at times, it sort of throws you off a little..

Is that the universal experience? I unsuccessfully tried Hotspot Shield on the Memphis game, and had no luck.

Total blackouts only apply to National TV games, ESPN, TNT, ABC, or NBA TV... That's it...

If you get a blackout and the game is not on any of those channels, there's a problem with your proxy or you're in the market for one of the teams..

For those who use CCleaner and clear their cookies every time and lose their logged in settings for all their sites (annoying!), just letting you know you don't have to do that. If using Firefox go to Options >> Show Cookies, type "nba" in the search box and just delete all of them, and you're done. Not sure how or if you can do it in IE8.
