Probably a future 1st + something decent, right? We don't really have any assets that would sway Orlando enough to give up on him after investing a Top 6 pick only two yrs ago.

I really don't see any 5s I'd be wanting to target. Should have traded for Steven Adams.
Mo Bamba I think it's highly liked in Orlando especially now that Isaac is injured this year. I think they look at moving on from the Gordon and Vucevic experience and rebuild with decent picks that they probably get from those deals plus Anthony, Ross, Birch plus a potential high pick in '21 like Cunningham or Boston

TD2 and Stanley for Richaun Holmes works in the trade checker if The Kings are still as dumb as they’ve proven to be.
Obviously, this would be if Masai/Bobby are ready to move on from Terence.

Sign Kyle O'Quinn (the minimum) for insurance. He's got size and can pass the ball.

O'Quinn and Lowry are good friends as well.

I'm having draft withdrawal already!

Raptors may be lower in standings but having a pick in the teens may net Greg Brown.

What's the consensus on what we should do with Norm? Do people want to hold onto him or cash in?

I personally am thinking we should hold onto him and evaluate until the trade deadline. I want to see more of the Kyle, Fred, Norm, Siakam, OG lineup before any moves are made.

If the plan is to transition Lowry off the bench next year and start FVV and Powell, keep him. I guess keeping Powell as the 6th man has his contract less than half of Donovan Mitchell's but more efficient.

Has to be a trade in the works. Probably for a centre. Only ones that make sense at that number are Drummond. Not sure how his advance numbers are but he really didn't help the pistons win much.

However as a premier rebounder and in a contract year he might fit.

Norm, mccaw and Stanley for drummomd works. We get someone to fill the 5 and expires at the end of the year. Allows us to consolidate the wing depth.

PJ Tucker for the 3rd time?

Tucker

for

McCaw
Johnson
Hernandez
2 2nds

iff houston is blowing it up, Tucker adds more toughness and front court depth. you get him for 3 guys who have no on court value.

What about McCaw and Stanley for Jabari Parker (expiring too). Frees up a roster spot.

McCaw for Luke Kornet?

McCaw for Khem Birch? Don't think Orlando would do it.

Drummond makes 28.7M and Norm, McCaw, Stanley total to around 18.6M so that trade won't work. I'm looking for a way to make it work but I don't think there is a realistic way to make it happen. I would prefer keeping Norm, McCaw, Stanley instead of taking on Drummonds massive contract anyways.

We only have 1 roster spot left and still need to sign Harris/Brissett/Watson 2 of which are SGs. I expect none of these players to sign two-way deals either.

Lowry/Flynn/McCaw
FVV/TD/Thomas/Bembry
OG/Norm/Johnson
Siakam/Hernandez
Baynes/Boucher

There has to be a trade in the works or the Bembry signing makes no sense.

So now come trades

We have Powell, Johnson and McCaw to send out along with all our firsts

This gives us a chance to acquire

Aaron Gorden
Oladipo
Gobert
Myles Turner
Zach Levine
G Dieng

Thoughts ?

Gordon is overrated and takes up multi years.
Would have to trade Siakam for Gobert.
Lavine would cost too much. He's a bad mofo.
Dieng again multi-years left.
Turner already makes a lot.

Oladipo is a gamble.

I would trade McCaw and Stanley for Jabari Parker. Or McCaw for Luke Kornet or Khem Birch.

We still need one more big body to throw out there. I'd sign Diallo and then add Wesson to the G-league.

Conversely, what are the chances McKechnie can work some of his magic on Demarcus Cousins' health?

Free agency has been a let down so far. Yeah, we preserved cap space, But it feels like we took "another" step back like we did last year. While teams around the east clearly took steps forwards, results are to be determined but it feels that way at least. Masai and Bobby putting all their eggs in the Giannis basket.

The one saving grace was watching Milwaukee give up all those picks for Jrue, then getting BLOCKED from the Brog trade. Brog was the one that would have catapulted them IMO.
