Yes we have

No we haven't. It's always been a talent issue with this team.

Sorry but trying on defense and getting kicked out of the game 4 on the back end of a sweep is a heart issue

I know it's Stephen A and the Cowboys, but it applies to the Leafs so damn well.

some irony that in the end they were missing that truculence.

anyway, they gotta make some massive changes in the off-season. no way you bring that core back after this

The problem is the Leafs are a profitable business.

They'll never blow it up, as long as fans are lining up to pay $500 to sit in the bleachers. We are the dumbest fan base. I'm talking about Toronto sports in general. We pack the arena/stadium no matter how bad our teams are.

If you want to know what a treadmill team looks like...this is it. The Raptors of today ain't got nothing on the Leafs of the last 5 years.

mdenny wrote:Florida is just by far the better team. You'd need to add 3 or 4 star players to the leafs to ice an equal squad.

Simply can't spend that much time in your own zone.

I bet no other team even comes close to taking the Panthers seven games. They probably only lose one or two more games before winning the cup.

Leafs did well to make it 7 even though they needed alot of luck to do it. Out of 21 periods ...the leafs probably only outplayed them in one or two of them.

I don't know about that. Have you watched Dallas? That team is stacked. The West in the NHL is like the West in the NBA. It's on another level. Florida has an easier path but is not above those West teams. Leafs did well to make game 7 but it's not a good game 7. I hope Carolina beats Florida. They're no push overs either. we shall see.
