I'm not giving up on the tank until Masai gets help at the trade deadline (signaling playoffs).

Just curious, did you have a problem with me using your quote about Trent getting knocked down by that Rudy screen on my signature?
I'm guessing no right?
Why? I didn't wish him injury. Just venting.
If we had locked GTJ up on a 4 or 5 year contract around 18M - he can hoist up as much shots as he wants, I wouldn't say sht.
I know you weren't serious, I just thought it was a funny thing worth quoting. I was just curious to know if you were annoyed that I was using it in my signature. Clearly you weren't.
I was hoping there was way more animosity between the two of you. Way more!

Let's playin for 9th!

What a thing to call out for "maturity" from a 20 year old rookie, when he is the most senior player.
Thanks.
Barnes is going to be a monster. Just need a little more size to play the role on defense that Gasol did but..damn
Yes Barnes will be a monster - in the Kawhi Leonard mold. Not Marc Gasol.
They tryna make sure he becomes Draymond (still good) instead of Kawhi. Scottie should be getting a little more shot creation reps IMO. But whatever.

Only a few losses from being completely out of play in.

More than half of Draymond's value comes from his defense and defensive IQ, which Barnes does not have. Offensively Barnes is better already than Draymond.
Barnes = Kawhi. We need to dream bigger - have higher ambitions!!
Posters comparing Barnes to Draymond are just FVV-enablers justifying their comparison of FVV to Steph Curry!!!

Real talk, Draymond has been crucial to Steph and Clay.
How FVV is in the same sentence as Steph is madness. Unless its a light skinned conversation.

Aim for the sky but be realistic at the same time. Barnes is a great piece. I love his game. A legit #2 potential player imo if you're realistic.
#1s need to have iso skills. Playoff Kawhi had Jordan Iso skills. Barnes at this point, doesn't have the best handle, doesn't have lightening speed, doesn't have the best shot. his iso game is usually backing guys down and trying to jump hook w his size and long arms

Re: Tank World Order (7.0)
imo for this team? For this draft? Being realistic of where we are and other teams are? 9 is lowest we could fall to this year. We are just better than 8 teams who are too far behind us rn.
knowing that? I'm hoping for the play in. Bc You can lose in the play in and draft top 11. That's what they don't tell you. Ask the hornets who got playoff experience for melo and bridges last year, they got Bouknight at 11. Some here wanted bouknight more than Barnes pre draft.

Re: Tank World Order (7.0)
So knowing you can lose in the play in and be slotted at the 11 spot pre lottery with top 4 potential and have playoff expeience for Barnes. Progress of getting better than last year.
Or we finish 9th w top 4 potential, idk the odd difference between 11 and 9 but i doubt its much. you gotta get lucky. No playoff experience, no progress

These wins feel nice now but reality will hit once we get swept in the first round, enter the draft with the 20th pick, and FVV/GTJ enter a contract year.

I mention this and I get labelled "you worry too much" , "why do you care, it's not your money"

Masai doesn't seem worried about it and he shouldn't be because he's been in this same position numerous times as an executive.
Appears as though they are playing to win because he believes in this core. If not, Nurse wouldn't be playing his starters so much.
Excited to see what deals they make at the deadline to improve this team's bench.

Come on now, you have zero idea about what might worry Masai.

Just replace "Masai/he" with "I/me" and it totally makes sense
