Was really funny reading posts about Cam Thomas earlier and making proclamations about his ceiling when he's barely played regular rotations minutes and is currently proving what he can do when given minutes while only being 21. Obviously the more he plays the more comfortable he will become play making. His defense can also come along hes 6'3 on a strong frame with a 6'7 wing span.

Nah that one guy aint bringing any championship over the next 4 years. If there is a chance to still get KD and be a contender for the next 3 years and then rebuild, he will definitely take that option. He has seen the fruits in tbe Kawhi trade. Yes we can say we have less talent around KD but Barnes and Siakam and Fred are a great start, then he builds through trades and buyout candidates.

Masai would rather have KD and create the hype in the city which in turn makes the owners happy. Even if he doesn't win a chip in the next few years, contending in the playoffs holds high value for him.

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know we automatically get KD if we want him.

Oh and it only costs us OG, Gary and picks? Oh, and what do we have left to trade to build?

The Raps can be outbid for KD and if they did get him, would be left with very little to have around him. Still no C. You think KD is going to play this chaos defense we play?

Now, in saying that, we know MU had lots of convo's about KD in the summer with the Nets and we have not been dismissed. so maybe that's a good sign. And for all we know, MU could be thinking that he wants his own personal change in a few years so might push more for a move now, rather than in 4 years.

I just can't see the Raps getting KD where we are in the standings and with how poor our depth is. It's only going to get worse.
