Shooting slumps happen and the competition in his league is a lot tougher than the NCAA.

I'd be more concerned about his FT% since then as far as potential indicators go.

Everyone mixing the hell outta their boards. Essentially, no one knows what’s going to happen.

To further knock on the draft class, Salaun looks like crap here (he’s had better games, but basic things that you develop as a baby, like foot coordination, are somewhat lacking):

I’m still high on him.

With Jama and Darko development, he’s exactly the type of player you’d want them to mould.

Great stroke, athleticism, and body. You can work with that. Getting him at Indy pick would be a steal imo.

Finally someone smart enough to realize Risacher should not be a top pick.

Castle that high though?

smart teams draft defense.

in this draft, I could see him going top-5 for sure.
Yeah. Sacramento has zero regrets about that mitchell pick, eh?

With obvious caveats about the quality of competition, Yang put up a career high 32 last week.

Is it stupid to even bother trying to rank Clingan before Perdue and U. Conn inevitably meet? That has the potential to be epic.

I would very much like another legit C, or a guy who can become one. That's not really Olynyk's game. He's a back up PF. When Poeltl gets injured, this team goes to hell. Clingan at least will shoot a 3 on occasion. If he's willing to work on that part of his game in a way Jak clearly isn't, then by all means draft him (not #1, tho).

But I want to see Clingan shut down Edey first. Actually, I don't want to see that. I'd prefer the opposite, and then figure out how high Zach should go.

It seems like a deep draft for Center prospects.

Sarr (PF/C)
Clingan (C)
Filipowski (PF/C)
Missi (C)
Ware (C)
Edey (C)
Chomche (C)
Bona (C)

One of those guys is gonna be a Raptor. Heard it here first. :reporter:

edit: I forgot Ivisic and Yang.

The fact that every mock is all over the place tells you a lot about the talent pool in this draft

The talent at his size is unique, with the chance to be special. If he needs a 1st round guarantee to come out this year, I'd give it

I keep saying he should be a lock with our DET pick.

I like his game so much I wouldn’t even be mad if we took him with the IND pick. He could be the “Sengun” of this draft and he’s taller, a legit C. I just say the DET pick because I never see him mentioned in the 1st rd. But if there’s one player in the draft where people say “how’d they let him fall that far?”, if he can do some of what he’s showing there to me he looks like the steal of the draft.

Who knows?! But that’s why I like him so much as the 1st pick of the 2nd rd. If you miss, no big deal majority of SRPs do or are role players at best. If the team is right about Yang, they could have a star and given his nationality that could be a bigger deal than they realize. I know I’m getting way ahead of myself lol but I find it hard to believe given his skill level that he wouldn’t at minimum be a solid back up C and one with the actual size to bang around in the post with the bigger Cs of the league. He’d be great in the PnR with IQ or Gradey. I really do hope we draft him.

Yang looks slow to me and I swear he travels on his post moves like half the time. More importantly, he does not look like an 18 year old…

Ya...he looks slow and clumsy. Not NBA material.
