Everyone was so ready to buy into the wolves after game 2....but when I watched that game....it seemed like the refs were just letting them get away with a million ticky tack fouls. I mean....yah you should let some of those go but it was inevitable that a crackdown would come. It was like the wolves figured something out systematic. They were just draping themselves all over the nuggets backcourt.

KAT to NY in the summer for Julius Randle, Bogdanovic and #23 pick.

NY trades: Deuce McBride, Mitchell Robinson , #22 pick, 2026 1st pick, 2028 1st pick and 2030 1st pick for Mikal Bridges

PG Brunson - FA
SG Bridges - DiVincenzo
SF Hart - Bridges
PF OG - Achiuwa - Sims
C KAT - Hartenstein - Sims

Incredible play to make the steal, stay inbounds, get the shot off before buzzer, make it.

Denver with 8 points in ~15 seconds to end the half. Crazy.

But why in the hell do the wolves do that, that's a massive downgrade from KAT.

Talent aside, Randle is a guy I'd trust even less than KAT. The reason I could see a version of this happening is that he makes almost 20 mil less than KAT with cheap owners.

The Bojan contract would have to be swapped for something like our Brown contract where they can cut and renegotiate at a lower scale potentially.

That's a fair way to put it, stupid AF, but man, did OKC not show cheap owners how dumb rocking the boat is.

That knicks trade seems reasonable imo.

Joki just made such a beautiful pass to Gordon.....he couldn't even process how open he was u Der the bucket and passed the ball out.

Jokic is just pure genius.

All about saving money. Could this deal happen under the current season? If so, then KAT for Randle straight up probably works, because KAT’s supermax kicks in starting next season, and his salary jumps $13M.

Also, Randle’s deal expires same year as Naz Reid’s deal, so Minny frees up money to pay Naz.

KAT just had one of the weirdest push fouls. A 3 second long stiff arm.

Seems shortsighted AF considering it would be a huge step back for the team. Might piss off Ant as well.

Mike Conley playing with so much heart and guts.

Around the 6 minute mark....you see Denver started playing the clock. No short possessions.

And jokic just made another masterful play to set up Gordon by himself under the bucket

Would it be though? Could Naz do what Towns is doing, with a starting role and more minutes?

A lot of teams will be shedding salary this year to avoid the aprons/luxury tax, so Minny would not be alone.

It’s not like Towns has led the TWolves to anything great. This year’s season record is because of Ant, Gobert and that D.

The way it would be positioned with Ant is it allows the team more flexibility to make future trades, where needed.

And sorry, it would probably be KAT for Randle and picks. When I was saying straight up KAT for Randle, that was about the salary moving between teams.

Versatile 2 way size remains the difference maker in a lot of these matchups. Gordon was completely negated in the first two games when Denver was playing closer to the basket and into Gobert's hands. Now they're stretching everyone out and getting room everywhere without losing size.

Knicks would be balanced deep and powerful. But Knicks board posters feel Brooklyn will never make a trade that helps the crosstown rival. Not sure though it's a big haul for Nets

Earlier in the 4th Gobert had a push in the back against Murray under the hoop, called by Scott Foster. Rudy threw up his arms and briefly made the fingers rubbing money sign. Camera cut away quick and it wasn't mentioned but I'm sure I saw it. Same gesture plus postgame comments got him a big fine a couple months ago. Probably nothing will happen, mainstream media won't mention it. Not sure if Twitter will run with it
