Yeah I really like him as a 3/4 hybrid. I also like Jonah Bolden as well. I wonder how hard it would be to get another pick.

If we can't trade up for Anunoby I'll be happy with one of these guys and maybe buy a 2nd rounder to get Robinson or Iwundu.

Can he play the 3? His lateral speed looks a bit too slow. Seems more like a 4.

Wasn't really able to showcase his skills at Maryland playing with garbage like Melo Trimble. They honestly should have let Trimble play off the ball and have Jackson run the offense.

Defensively he's advertised to be able to guard 3-5, but against NBA talent we'll have to wait and see.

Something that might be worth noting is he might not have to be a great defender if we drafted him. Most of our role players now are defensive oriented guys. Obviously, it would be nice to have a good defender at every position, but most teams don't have that. If he can be average to slightly above average defensively, while solid offensively he'd fit in nicely. In theory anyway.

Actually, he might be a great fit with Norm if he can create his own shot, which is where Norm struggles off the bench.

Defense isnt really required but it be nice to have an elite big wing defender. PJ is our guy but he's old and Caroll is broken down. Especially in the eastern conference with guys like Giannis LeBron PG and Butler. Which is why I'm pretty high on Anunoby. If we can turn Justin Jackson into a great defender it be nice considering his tools.

Yeah for me it's Anunoby or Jackson at the top of my list at 1A & 1B. Only if they're gone would I look to a guy like Iwundu who I'm also high on (3rd on my list).

I was pretty apathetic about our pick entering this month maybe due to prospect fatigue, now I'm hoping we can somehow get an early second rounder.

Trade up for OG

or somehow get 2 of:

Jackson
Bolden
Robinson
Iwundu
Semi
Evans
Thornwell
White
Blossomegame
Eliezer-Vanerot

Anunoby won't be on the board still. Don't worry though...Bruno got us. 8-)

It's difficult to predict a draft pick until the final days. I did manage to name our pick like 8 months before we took Delon though. lol. You can imagine how excited I was. I also predicted Jakob(though everyone knew that was coming) and Pascal was only a surprise because Skal was still on the board. Masai and Weltman have been very predicatable at the draft the past couple years, not that that's a bad thing. They/Watson have certain priorities and draft accordingly.

I've been leaning toward Devin Robinson and Jawun Evans, but I think my streak will come to an end this draft.

Yeah, not really seeing IT with him. Nothing special indeed imo.

I think I'm gonna stick wkth the 3 guys in my sig for now.

Giles:
High ceiling
Good rebounder
Great defensively even with though he's young and getting limited minutes
Raw and sped up offensively
Injury history

Bolden:
Good 3pt shooter
Great tools and defensive instincts
Good handle for a wing
Terrible FT shooter
Maybe too big/slow to play the NBA 3?

Ojeleye:
A monster offensively
Great shooter by every metric
Good size
Suspect steal/block numbers
Has upside for a junior

I just want players that can break out into stars down the line. Do you guys have any other players that deserve recognition?

If this is in response to my having Robinson on my list of prospects, I'll simply say this:
The reason you see nothing special in him is the same reason I see nothing special in any prospects we're discussing this year. There is nobody "special" in our range. We're picking 23rd people. There typically aren't any, or at least many special players picked so late in a draft. Hell, some years have had nothing but crap picked outside the lottery.
I'm going with Robinson because his shooting, defense, length and athleticism would fill a role here when one or both of our small forwards leave or decline. But I don't think he'll be a star by any means. He may not even be a starter, but again I think it's possible none of the guys we've discussed who will likely still be on the board, will be starters. It's the late first round folks, which means it's a crap shoot most years. If we get someone who stays in the league, that's actually a successful pick. Most don't.

I mean he's more of a 2 rather than a 3. Build wise anyway.

OG Anonuby if he drops because of the injury. 2K Ferguson if he drops since he didn't put up monster numbers in Australia.

OG
Giles
Ojeleye
Blossomgame
Lydon

This is my board. A lot of people will criticize Lydon but he has good feel for the game/IQ, has good defensive instincts and the dude could give us 15-20 mins of three point shooting. We desperately need it and he is the best shooter of all the players on my personal board. It's hard to gauge 1 on 1 defensive ability because of the Cuse zone but I wouldn't mind him at all. Ojeleye is intriguing but where does he fit in? I'd be ok with this if we are grooming him to be our replacement for Carroll.
