Great game by LTU. They started hitting 3s (softer rims at new arena?) and kept their defence solid.
Now LTU almost clinched 2nd seed in their group if nothing spectacular happens (and by spectacular I mean Ukraine beating Lithuania or so) and if France wins against Serbia by 1-21 points = Lithuania 1st

Yes Lithuania defense is great whole tournament. France was leading competition with 80 ppg and scored only 62 today. Lithuania is tied in 2th place in competition for points allowed with 67.4 . Also 2th in opponent field goal percentage - 37.7 and 3 point opponent percentage only 24.4 .

Great game by Lithuania.

Really liked both Seibutis' and Kuzminskas' efforts. Kleiza played with the team. Jonas had a good game (aside from some mistakes on the defensive end against Ajinca).

The offense wasn't anything mind blowing, but at least it wasn't brutal. However, the defense was spectacular.

I like when Jonas doesn't try to do too much and knows his role (which he executed perfectly with amazing efficiency).

Leading competition in offence is not so complicated agaisnt GB, UKR, BEL, GER and some other semi-scrubs. UKR and BEL wouldn't even have made out of the group B that LTU was in.

JV looks great cleaning up baskets. He's still not a go to type of guy but is very efficient when he plays within his abilities.

France looked like they didn't care. The coach didn't even play Parker at the end. Not sure if this is throughout the tournament or just today.

JV': 13 pts (6/6 FG, 1/2 FT), 6 rbs, 1, st, 1 blk, 0 TO... +12 for the team

Kleiza was +20 for the team even though he shoot 2/9 lol

All I do is win, win, win, no matter what.

I mentioned it before, Lithuania plays good team defense against perimeter oriented teams with established go to scorers. Nedovic had a great game against them, but Lithuania focused on defending the paint. Every time the plan was to shut down the guard, it worked. Shved, Bellineli, McCallebb and Parker were trapped, completely.

They should win upcoming 2 games and hope they get Italy in the next round. Seems like the most favorable match up IMO.

Group F is weird one. We could get some pseudo tanking from group E teams going forward. As of now, group E leader would have to play Spain. Greece will most likely end up outside of top 2 as well...

Greece will have tough time getting out to the quarters at all. They still need 2 more wins, and neither the Slovenia nor Croatia game is a given. They really screwed themselves by losing to Finland.

They can still go further with 2-2, or can't they? I dont know how this +/- works.

Yea Group F is complicated and the +/- dynamics are very uncertain. And the likely scenario is that one of Greece or Spain will be alimented. The problem for Greece is that they have two tough games against Slovenia & Croatia. Spain should be fine against Finland but Italy can be a challenge considering their decent guards.

I wouldn't worry about tanking b.c. the first game in the QT will be tough regardless the opponent. And Spain and Greece are not much more elite than Slovenia, Croatia or even Italy. LTU should attempt to finish first so that they can potentially matchup against Latvia assuming both teams lost their first game in the QT... at least this would give JV a chance to play in the World Championship.

Refs missed 2 flagrants against Belgium... should be an excuse to make biased calls in favor of LTU later in the game

Awful shot selection by D-Mo hahaa... but he made it.
