1. Siakam + McDaniels for Jabari Smith Jr, Oladipo, Lockdale, TariEason.

Jak/jontay/lockdale/koloko
Jabari/Boucher
Scottie/Tari
RJ/Gary
IQ/Schro

Only con I see is that this looks Scottie into the primary defender, which I don’t like. Jabari would be excellent here and the raps cap sheet would be in extremely good position going forward.


2. Siakam for Pat Will, Lonzo, Ayo and a pick.

Barnes/Bocuher
Williams/McDaniels
RJ/Gary/Ayo
IQ/Schro/Ayo

A bit tricky cap wise with Pat also a RFA and lonzo dead money for a year, but pick helps compensate. Key here is Pat Will becomes POA defender allowing Scottie to be the safety and in his natural offensive and defensive positions.

Both trades get key young guys to compete now and in the future with picks or cap space.

Why would they trade Green for Siakam? they're forward group is fine.

Pat Will being the OG replacement would be a phenomenal get for Masai.

I'm not sure what kind of trade the Bulls could make for Pascal, but even if not PWill would be a great fit here. I think he's even worth targeting as an RFA with capspace this summer.

Definitely like Jabari, Eason, Pat Will and Ayo. I think we need a POA defender so i prefer the Bulls trade which also gets us someone to replace GTJ or allow us to trade Schroder, and Schroder can probably get you a good return himself at this deadline or next.

The Houston trade leaves us with a huge issue unless we want to try Barrett as the defender. I think we are wasting Barnes by using him to chase the best scorers on other teams when it's not a big.

I remember listening to a radio interview with some past sports exec and they mentioned that most of the rumored deals you hear are actually dead deals already. Its possible someone is trying to revive it or to just drum up attention.
